Unexpectedly smooth. Nice pepper burn, but not harsh. The finish lasts almost to the next puff. The strength didn't hit me as hard as I thought it would, which is good. Burn and smoke output did not disappoint. Very dark chocolate flavor with leather and pepper. Worth a try!

Been smoking the Diablos since they came out. The strongest Punch I've ever had. I like the Scamp size. Burns and tastes great from the first puff until the last. One of my favorites.

Starts off third with a really good spice, second third no spice and the leather and earth starts to come through. Last third a little bit of spice comes through with almost a mint feeling on the retro hail, a nice milky feeling for aftertaste. Perfect burn all the way through. Amazing cigar.

I ordered the Scamp and received these Diabolus as a gift with the order. I now have a box of these Diabolus in my collection of many. They are a very tasty Punch that will Knock You Out. They are right in line with the many A+ top quality stogies I have enjoyed and burned over the years. I recommend them to anyone that loves full flavor as I do. I have found that most of the AJ Fernandez creations now occupy 94% of my many humidors and these Punch Diabolus have a rightful place with me. Highly Recommended!

This is easily in my top 10 cigars and will be a staple as long as these are made. I've smoked 17 out of my box of 20 and they have been consistent so far. The box press is perfect, the draw is perfect for me- ever so slightly on the tight side, but still producing a massive amount of thick creamy smoke. The thickness of this smoke actually gives a nice mouthfeel and I describe it as savory and dark. The tobacco flavor is, to me, very smooth- not harsh at all, with subtle notes of leather, dark dark dark chocolate, and traditional pure tobacco. A lot of cigars at this strength to me have an overwhelming barnyard note that can become too much but the Punch Diablo doesn't have that. I have had a few of the smaller sizes of the Diablo and I think this huge box press is what sets this particular stick apart. The burn is better, the draw is better, the flavor is so much more expressive. While smoking the smaller sizes all you can think is "wow, these are STRONG." But with this box press all I keep thinking is "wow, this is how cigars are supposed to be made!" Pairs perfectly with every bourbon I've tried and goes nice with ribeye and dark beer or a Dr. Pepper. Smokes between 1 and 1.5 hours for me and when I'm done I want another one immediately. Clean finish, pleasant smell, beautiful presentation- all around a great buy, especially for the price.

I really don't want to write a review until I've smoked 3 to 5 cigars,it's just not fair. These are hand made and you might get one that is a bit off. This is a most excellent smoke,full flavored and a taste that begs for retrohaling. So satisfying are the nuances as you smoke your way through the cigar.It leaves you completely satisfied,in pipe smoking we have an area in the bowl that we call "The Zone" where everything comes together,this cigar is in this zone almost immediately and stays there until the nub.I would give it more than 5 stars at this price point.

Got these as a bonus with my last order. I'm glad I ordered 2 boxes because I got 10 Diaboluses! They are awesome! After letting them aclimate in my humidor, they are smooth rich bold cigars. The JR description is dead on. Over the years trying the different brands and types I came across a Punch Sampler. Since then I've become almost exclusively a Punch smoker. They have a good variety, are consistent and priced competitively. Punch is now my Go-To Cigar.

I am not usually a Punch fan but this one changed my mind. Full bodied, loaded with flavor and perfect draw. I really enjoyed this one and would definitely buy again. (When on sale.)
