Can you change an order placed online?
Once an online order has been submitted, it cannot be changed. However, our Customer Service Department may be able to cancel the order and allow you to resubmit it. Or they can place an order for you, making the necessary changes. The time between the submittal and the packing of the order is extremely limited; be sure to contact Customer Service as soon as possible. We can be reached at: 1-888-JR-HELP-ME (1-888-574-3576) between 8am to 12am EST, Mon-Fri.
How do I set up an online account?
There are two ways to open a JRCigars.com account:
- Simply place whatever items you wish to buy within your shopping cart and when you go to the check-out portion of the process, you will be prompted to do so as an "Existing Customer" or as a "New Customer."
- Add items to your cart
Browse our inventory by clicking on the appropriate section in the top menu (Cigars, Pipe Tobacco, Accessories, etc). See something you like? Simply click on the

button to add it to your cart.
Want an item from our catalog? Simply type the item's itemcode in the "Cigar Search" box and press

When you go to check-out, you will be asked to "Login or Create an Account." If you have not ordered online before, select "I am a new customer OR check out as GUEST." and click the

What are your shipping charges?

What are your shipping terms?
All shipments Freight on Board (FOB) Burlington, NC. Risk of loss is on the Purchaser during transport and shipment. Title to, and ownership of all goods passes from Seller to the Purchaser in Burlington, North Carolina, and the Purchaser takes all responsibility for the shipment. By arranging for transportation of the goods, Seller is providing a service to, and acting on behalf of Purchaser. By utilizing this service from Seller, Purchaser is representing that he/she is acting in a fashion compliant with his/her local and state laws regarding the purchase, transportation, and delivery of the goods. The Purchaser represents that he/she is of lawful age and has obtained any required permission, paid any required fees, is working through properly licensed intermediaries where required, is legally entitled to take possession of the goods and is legally entitled to take quantities ordered.
Do you ship outside of the USA?
No ... currently we only ship cigars to consumers within the USA or those with APO/FPO USA military oversea addresses. (The latter group even receives a military discount on JR Cigar items) We have thoroughly researched the option of shipping cigars to foreign cigar consumers. Sadly due to the variable costs involved and more so, the myriad of different tobacco and tax laws worldwide it really is not feasible for us to currently ship outside the US. When we weigh the benefit versus the costs, shipping outside the USA simply is not good for our business. For some business models it could be great; for us, it simply is bad business. Also, we do not send catalogs outside of the USA. In some countries it would be regarded as an illegal solicitation since we are not authorize to export cigars into that country. Every year we reconsider our current policy, looking at all our options. Hopefully one day, we will be able to provide every cigar smoker on the planet with great cigars at a great price.
Do you sell cigarettes online?
JRCigars.com does not sell any cigarettes or related products online in compliance with the state and federal laws and our desire to -not- be in the online cigarette business. However, we do offer e-cigarettes. Yes, we know other sites do so. Obviously they have a different interpetation of the various legislations and company philosophy.
Do you sell Cuban cigars?
Nope, that would be illegal. However, we sell a ton of cigars that are as good as any Cuban cigar. And for much, much less ... you gotta be nuts to be spending $15 for any Cuban cigar! Check out our Cuban alternatives to get started.
Why is jrcigars.com verifying my Age?
JRCIGARS.COM is committed to only selling their products to adults and to protecting your identity and privacy online. JRCIGARS.COM's use of Veratad's Age Verification is based solely on U.S. record information and therefore verification of individuals residing outside the U.S. is unavailable. [Military Addresses outside of the US are acceptable]
How do I sign up for JR Cigar's Auto Ship program?
There are two ways to set up Auto Ship - both of which are pretty simple. Online. Just sign into your account, select the 'Auto Ship' tab, choose the cigar(s) you want and then verify a shipping frequency/recurring shipping date. * By Phone. Call 1-800-J·R-CIGAR and one of our representatives will set up your Auto Ship account according to your precise requests. *The dates and items you choose can be changed at any time.
What is JR Cigar's return policy?
Any item can be returned within 30 days of purchase for refund credit, or exchange (minus delivery charges). Simply send the item to us via UPS or insured parcel post. Click here for more information.

How can I start receiving a hard-copy JR Cigar catalog? Oppositely, how can I put an end to my subscription?
If you'd like to begin a subscription to JR Cigar's catalog, fill out go to the Contact Us Page
, select Catalog Request from the drop down menu, and fill in your mailing information in the Description box . You'll receive a new catalog in your mailbox each month for as long as you want. Canceling your subscription is as easy as speaking with a representative at 1-800-JR-CIGAR, or by emailing your cancelation request to customerservice@Jrcigars.com.
Because JR Cigar has a price match guarantee, does that mean JR also accepts coupons from competitors?
Yes. We will honor any competitor coupon that can be verified on that particular competitor's website. If it's real, we accept it - simple as that. In addition, if the coupon is from a magazine or catalog, you can scan it onto your computer and email it to customerservice@Jrcigars.com.

JR Cigar Is required to collect sales tax in certain states including Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. JR Cigar is not required to collect sales tax in Alaska, Delaware, Missouri, Montana, New Hampshire, and Oregon. Local taxes collected where applicable.
