Champion Figurado great smoke 5 5 1
Champion Figurado My buddies and I have been smoking Champions in the EMS Oscuro and Rare Corojo versions for years and collectively we've gone through at least 1200 cigars. Love these Champions for the great flavor quality construction great ash and long smoke. Unfortunately we found in 4 boxes of the rare corojos some cigars (about 30-40%) that have bad off-flavor issues to the point where they are just not smoke-able. These are from orders placed in 2013 and early 2014 . You notice it immediately after lighting up.....a soapy and slightly solvent-like taste. These cigars are all properly stored and other cigars that they are stored with are not affected....and not all rare corojo Champions from the same box are affected. Its really quite a shame that I wish Punch could sort out at the factory with better quality control. 3 5 1
Champion Figurado I was expecting a little more complexity in this full flavored oddity. It makes for a fun smoke but pretty much just tastes like an earthy cigar. In the beginning there was a little leather and zest but it was hard to draw anything more out of it later on. Consistent burn until the the very end. This little figurado lasted much longer than I expected which was q nice surprise. 4 5 1
Champion Figurado A horribly flavorless stogie. Had a decent construction and color but regardless of aesthetics it failed in the department where it was needed. Bitter ash taste. 2 5 1
Champion Figurado not bad had problems with wrapper but still not bad theres better out there 4 5 1
Champion Figurado I have to defend this cigar. Since my introduction my experience is only 6 months or so. It began with Punch samplers. I was already enamored with their Nicaraguan Puro. Each Punch Sampler contained 2 Champions, a Classico and a Rare Corojo. In addition there were Elites and a Grand Cru Connecticut Robusto. The two that captivated me were Rare Corojo and Grand Cru. What's even funnier is I fell in love with the Elites too! I smoke them all now and buy them by the box! On another tangent, my next order from JR will be Punch Rothchild Naturales. That is another favorite! But Punch Rare Corrojo, whether Champion or Elite, is to me the best Corrojo out there. 5 5 1
Champion Figurado Always a great smoke. Burns evenly every time, great ash, and smooth pull. Will definitely order again. 5 5 1

Champion Figurado I like it 5 5 1
Champion Figurado Always have had respiratory problems with full-bodied cigars, but not this one. Like the flavor, love the size. Living along the Gulf with our high humidity, I can light one, smoke it part of the day and leave out in our Florida room overnight, and finish it the next day. With longer cigars, it can take up to three or four days to finish, but after two days, it's usually so damp it's hard to light/smoke and the flavor is diminished. Not with this one! 5 5 1
Champion Figurado The wife and I made a split second decision to get away to the beach on Thursday. Saturday found me in Myrtle Beach with nothing. I wandered into a local B&M and just wanted something small for the evening walk. picked up a handful of these and the first evening was so damned nice I looked forward to them the rest of the week! I've enjoyed a random selection from Punch before but my preference is always for a Toro or larger. I'm buying a pox of these for evenings on the patio. 5 5 1
