Almirantes I am a binge buyer. About 20 years ago I bought an unmentionable amount of cigars. (I just did a count on those and still have 475 left). I occasionally hit the coolidors and tranfer to humidors. I come across this Partagas and it looked like it was involved in a nuclear blast of some sort. Now I should have just tossed it but I leave it in the humi. Everytime I open it I see this severly wounded Partagas and it makes me a little sad. I was cleaning up the humidor a bit and I decided some action was required. I dont do pipes. I wont roll. So its toss it or smoke it. If you saw it you would laugh at the shear absurdity of it. The wrapper undone from head to foot. I fire it up and it smokes normal. Huge plumes of smoke apparently the binder was fine. I am not a fan of Dominican ingredients. But it was actually a nice smoke. Smoked the whole thing without any issue except it had to be one of the ugliest cigars that was ever successfully smoked. If you like mild I can safely approve of this one. Just dont plan to store it for twenty years the wrapper is just not that durable! 4 5 1
Almirantes These are some reaply rich and smooth smokes. Solid medium bodied smoke with great smoke output 5 5 1
Almirantes This is one of my all-time favorite cigars. Unfortunately they have been discontinued. They're still available in 5-packs but the boxes of 20 are gone. The JR Alternative Almirante is still available and is an excellent value. 5 5 1
Almirantes Not a fan of the Partagas a good yard Cigar at best fort me. Smooth just lacking on a lot of flavor. 3 5 1
Almirantes This stick had great flavors from prelight to the nub although it had somewhat of a tight draw but still a very enjoyable smoke 3 5 1
Almirantes Overall a decent cigar it's not too powerful but not to mild either. It's nice for a summer night and a glass of red wine 3 5 1
Almirantes Rich and smooth with a more mild than medium body. Well constructed with little to no flaws. Good cigars. 4 5 1

Almirantes I love the camaroon wrapped cigars and this is one of the best. A nice medium body with a slight sweetness . Great with a Makers and Ginger Ale! 5 5 1
Almirantes My first J.R. purchase years ago at the old Statesville store. A wonderful lady was very helpful. She showed me how to cut a torpedo gave me a defective cigar and other freebies. I've never forgotten her kindness. 5 5 1

Almirantes Partagas makes some amazing cigars and this stick is no exception! I loved this stick in the morning before work 4 5 1
Almirantes I try many different smokes but always come back to partagas. Most mild cigars have no character but these do. 4 5 1
Almirantes Great cigar great price 5 5 1
Almirantes A very good smoke, especially for the price. It's made by the Fuentes family with a Cameroon wrapper which I like a lot. They are handmade, so each one may not be like the last. Over all, a very good cigar. I give them to friends. Don't give a friend a bad cigar! 4 5 1
Almirantes Draw was great 5 5 1
Almirantes Smooth /good draw/ well made /good flavor 2 5 1
Almirantes So this is the famous Partagas. I'm not impressed at all. Roll is loose, taste is dry, rough and grassy. A rather poor showing for a brand that has been in existence for almost two hundred years. 2 5 1
Almirantes A very good smoke, especially for the price. I love the Cameroon wrapper! The consistency is OK, but the cigar is well worth a try. 4 5 1
Almirantes Excellent Herf 5 5 1
Almirantes Still a good cigar, but the consistency has declined. However, you can't beat the creamy, Cameroon flavor! 4 5 1

Almirantes 6.12 × 48 PAAL5

This cigar is translated as the Admiral, adding some unique flair to this already outstanding smoke. Available in packs of 5, it uses a unique blend of Dominican and Mexican long filler tobaccos making it medium bodied and zesty. Its Cameroon wrapper adds in a nice touch of black pepper.
