Toro Bought a box about two weeks ago and enjoyed my first stick today. The construction, draw and burn are more than satisfactory. It is different than other traditional Parts gas cigars in that it is a bit more mellow and less biting. The blend of tobacco is well crafted, especially at the cigar's price point. Recommended for a relaxing smoke with a shot of your favorite bourbon. 4 4 1

Partagas Cortado

Toro 6 × 52 PACOT

With the hot new Partagas Cortado Toro cigars, the brand has left their long-standing home in the Dominican Republic to become the first Partagas line to be handcrafted in Nicaragua. It’s also the first Partagas blend to use an Ecuadorian-seed Connecticut shade wrapper. This silky-smooth leaf secures a tasty Indonesian binder and a core of fully aged long filler tobaccos from Honduras, Mexico, and Nicaragua. Mostly known for their medium bodied and fuller strength cigars (depending on which blend that you choose), Matt Wilson, senior brand manager for Partagas said, “With interest in the Partagas brand continuing to grow, we felt it was the right time to expand the brand portfolio with a mellow-to-medium-bodied blend. Light a Cortado Toro, and you’ll be greeted by rich, flavors of sweet cream, cedar, leather, and a subtle spiciness that gently lingers on the palate. This all amounts to a premium cigar that’s smooth enough for that first morning smoke, yet complex enough to be enjoyed for the rest of the day. Order an affordable box of 20 from JR Cigar, then, sit back, relax, and savor the softer side of Partagas.
