Ambassador I've smoked two boxes of these cigars from JR and another vendor. I am a Lonsdale fan. I have access to a vintage collection of Cuban cigars in another country - no brag just a benchmark. I rate them as one of the best Lonsdales that I have ever smoked especially in terms of value. They are creamy like a Montecristo but have a richer taste. For example I'd compare them to Turkish Coffee whereas the Montes are Italian Coffee. (What most people call strong cigars I dub bitter - like Starbucks Coffee.) They have a consistent burn hold an ash as well as any truly fine cigar and are smokeable to the end - but never a bitter end. I am going to try the Churchills in this series. As an alternative I smoke the Romeo Cedros Number 1 that is a bit less sophisticated but very well made given todays standards and quite uniform in burn and flavour. Like all cigars I suggest letting them age in your humidor for at least a fortnight so they get over the shock of moving from one environment to another. 4 4 1
