Toro This stick caught me off guard. I got a couple of them in a sampler. I wasn’t expecting it to be so scrumptious. I grabbed one out of the humidor to puff on outside while handling a few chores. It was so good I had to sit down on the patio and enjoy it. Aj perfection 5 5 1

Toro They're excellent. Try them you will be very pleased. Somewhat complex. Nutty, creamy, some pepper. Burn and construction is very good throughout. Would love to stock up on them when they go on sale. They stand out from the rest of my daily cigars like high and Olivas do. AJ Fernandez never disappoints! 5 5 1
Toro It seems AJF can do no wrong... Had this in my humidor for a week 69-70% since the 5pk was delivered in Feb then had a 2nd one a week later. I elected to wait many more weeks to try the third. I will leave this Review here now to see how this smoke changed in the next few weeks. Feb 2023 Beautiful wrapper - very tight cap to foot - no soft spots Pleasant tobacco aroma Dry Draw is deep for as tightly wrapped as it is. Single blue flame toasting of the foot and it gives a fantastic aroma like that of a rich bonfire on the beach. Lots of smoke and the retrohale has a very thick sting A creaminess is immediately noticed on my lips with a white peppery hint on the sides of the tongue There is a robust depth to this stick and it's burning evenly with a mild gray coinage developing There is an exquisite familiarity to this cigar - it's very reminiscent to the Gran Vulcano ... after searching my notes, they are very similar in my Review The first third was consistent with the creaminess and the peppery notes. The second third the pepper has become thicker and is dominant on the top and back of my tongue- and not in a harsh sense, like it's it saying, I'm here and I'm gaining strength. Have been resting 2min between draws and it remains consistent. The 1.5" ash fell off as I approached the 2nd third and from 3' it hit the concrete and exploded on impact. The retrohale is has more pepper then the aftertaste of the draw. The pepper is calming down and finding its way to the roof of my mouth The creaminess of the cap is still there and its reaching further into my palate and tongue. I've had to retouch the burn for the smoke went out a couple times when I tried to rest beyond 3min The relight is EXQUISITE - the smell of the burn is WONDERFUL Into the last third and the wrapper is darker and oilier and softer between my fingers... what an excellent smoker The depth and strength remains but the pepper has all but left the scene. This beauty has turned into a deeply rich and robust smoker with the retrohale being the only villian for me. I've just tried a third time with a retrohale and this last one has INVADED my sinuses and they are inflamed.. tears galore and the pepper is thicker. BUT ...the aftertaste of the draw remains Smoot and Silky and nothing rough about it. I got to an inch left of this stick after 70min and I couldn't put it down. I continued to smoke this thing down to a 1/2' nub. There was no heat from the glow at this point either. I was amazed. THIS is definitely in my TOP FIVE Favorite List... With the Gran Vulcano just above it and I won't say who the first Three are on my List. That's only showing up in the Reviews I leave for them. This is a WINNER for me... I will fight hard in the Auctions for this Beauty 5 5 1

Toro I was able to purchase another 5pk this month and decided to pull out the last stick I got from the 5pk I got in February. This was JUST AS GOOD as I remember it in April when I sparked up one of these fine beauties ... AJ Fernandez - has a regular smoker in this Nicaraguan Series .. I will be purchasing this a little more often as well as many others from his other Lines 5 5 1
