Toro Nice Collection piece 5 5 1
Toro Nice gift 'box' presentation for a fine tasting cigar. Only issue, and it is a BIG one is that while these cigars are labeled as 6 x 54, they are really 6 x 50. I will be contacting JR on this. 3 5 1
Toro These are not 54 gauge. They are around 48. I measured them. See photo attached that shows a Churchill 7x54 next to it. 1 5 1
Toro OK, I attempted to leave a review on this over a week ago, I even confirmed that I was 'real' by responding to JR's validation email back, however my review has yet to post. I ordered this container of 6 x 54's and received in good order EXCEPT the cigars are 6x50's. The container shows 6x54, the cigars had little stickers on each cigar stating 6x54, however, they are all actually 6x50's?! I really wish someone over at JR would engage a warehouse person to confirm as they are selling a mislabeled product, not intentionally (hopefully) but something is certainly amiss here. The 6x50 tastes and smokes fine, it's just not what I normally smoke or what I paid for. I am now hesitant to purchase a similarly packaged 20 of another brand as I don't want to be 'deceived' yet again. RC 3 5 1
Toro There is no way this was size 54, I feel like I was scammed 1 5 1
Toro You order toro size and you receive a small cigar, I called the customer service and they told me they can't do anything about it, not buying from JR anymore 1 5 1
Toro Fine for the price. 3 5 1
Toro The smokes are great, no question. My issue is the 20-count desktop jar. I thought it would be porcelain or similar. In fact, it is plastic. No where in the add does it say what material the jar is made of, but the word "JAR" indicates a non-plastic material. Plastic Kind of cheapens it. Point is, just be honest - this should be stated in the product description. 4 5 1
Toro This is definitely a 54 gauge cigar, I measured because of the other reviews. . . Picture of a 60 RP, the 54 MCW in question, a 50 LaFinca, and a 44 gauge JR for your edification. I think the other raters might have been writing reviews while having a Cali sober 60-gauge 🙂. Amazing deal - I think the price is due to the Boveda (69%) packs being almost expired, but mine arrived great! Cut one to enjoy before aging and the build is everything you expect from MonteChristo; draw, even burn, flavor all on point even when it's dry. The containers are cool, airtight with an air release on the top, but the gold is inside them. I recommend pairing with an Isaiah Morgan Small Batch, in fact I think I'll do that now. 5 5 1
Toro I have an actual cigar ring gauge sizer. . . . they are 54. I bought two jars and measured a random dozen of them. . . all uniformly 54 ring gauge. 5 5 1
