Montecristo C Usually a good smoke. I order every two weeks. The last 2 orders the wrapper was so dry it flaked and cracked. My humidor could not restore the humidity range needed. 4 5 1
Montecristo C I thought I would give these a try based on the many positive reviews. I usually smoke Maduro Jr Ultimates Double Corona's. The Ultimates are great smokes - consistent flavorful smokes that I can always count on. These alternatives are consistent ......poor construction and harsh rather than flavorful. I was hoping to find a less expensive alternative to the Ultimates. These are definitely not them. 3 5 1

Montecristo C Of all the Limitada cigars this IMO is the strongest and is the strongest cigar that's in my personal menu. I've never had a better cigar than this different yes but not better. It's full of dark chocolate/tobacco flavor that is sweet on the tongue and tangy. Any serious cigar smoker would like this. Can't go wrong buying this one. 5 5 1

Montecristo C These are really good for a 2 dollar smoke. If i got one without a band i would say its a $6-10 nicaraguan medium smoke. Well made. Little spongy on the nub. 4 5 1

Montecristo C I've been smoking these forever no faults whatsoever perfect burn rolled perfectly never bitter wrapper never flakes never hard/lumpy superb toasty spicy flavor consistently. Not mild but not a choker... at this price you can't go wrong! I prefer this 46 x 5.62 size they are excellent. And shipping in 3 days..... that's why I stay with JR. 5 5 1
Montecristo C In humidor for a month. Definitely agree with most of the reviews. I did have a bit of wrapper flaking and a harsh peppery taste for the first inch or so. It then mellowed out to make a really enjoyable smoke. 3 5 1

Montecristo C This is the best value in cigars. Rich flavor usually a great draw really great smoke for 2.50 a stick...they are a little inconsistent--some bundles are more flavorful and rich once in a while you get a more cardboard like taste but 85% of them are really excellent smokes. 4 5 1
Montecristo C Ok smoke. Not complex in any way. You need to wedge or bullet cut it or the wrapper unfolds. Not a bad cigar in any way just a very thin wrapper . I think I like the hoyo epicure better. 3 5 1
Montecristo C Love J&R...however, these are very disappointing. I've been smoking Limitada Edicion cigars for several years and will continue...BUT... I'll never buy these particular ones again. Not good. 2 5 1
Montecristo C This cigar is pretty good OTT. HOWEVER, it's the best ageing cigar I have ever encountered. Be patient. Put it down for 1-3 years and it will knock your socks off. 5 5 1

Montecristo C If you like cigars with lots of spice which tend toward strong, you will enjoy this one. I down rate the draw which also hits the construction because a good number of my last several bundles have needed a vacuum pump to get any smoke through. Given the price it's a grand cigar. 4 5 1

Montecristo C Just finishing my 20ct. bundle. Found problems with 5 out of 20 such as, burn not consistent. but the ones that did smoked good with a decent draw, burn, and flavor comes alive in the final third. If the inconsistencies could be worked out I would think about these for everyday. They tend to canoe and tunnel. 3 5 1
