Rothschild This is a pretty good daily budget cigar. The construction is great but for the price it good. It's got a good draw and burn. The flavors are a mild cedar earth with a slight buttery sweetness. The only bad part about the construction is just around the band it tries to unravel. Rothschild I do not like to base a negative review on one cigar, however as this was all that came in the sampler I am forced to say that my experience was bad. I could not keep the cigar from canoeing no matter what I tried, I tried all the tricks I could think of but the cigar just wanted to burn down one side. The flavor is smooth and creamy, the draw was good, and the cigar construction maintained its integrity throughout. This particular cigar is in the lower price range and for the price of around $2 I would think it would be a decent low cost cigar if the canoeing is not representative of all the cigars. I gave it three stars simply becasue I had to fight with the cigar to get an even burn, needless to say, the cigar wooped my butt. 3 5 1

Rothschild I bought these for the golf course and to give out for home visitors. Smoked one last night and it’s pretty harsh. The flavor wasn’t bad but it was like smoking sandpaper. I got a great deal so can’t complain. 3 5 1

Rothschild Just bought these for the first time. Was looking for an everyday smoke for lawn day, etc. The price is good but, you need to be able to get past the spice! It's not a good beginner smoke being it's to harsh in the first quarter but, if you are an average or advanced smoker, you could get through it. The second quarter it takes on a more cedar, nutty flavor, and tobacco flavor leaving behind the pepper. That said. Not bad for the price point. I'm curious to know if the Churchills are any better. 3 5 1
