Toro Great smoke! Starts off a bit spicy but after that it’s just an hour plus of great aged tobacco! 4 5 1
Toro I got a 5 pack of these with another order of Upmanns I put in, so I didn't know what to expect when I tried it. I didn't think I'd enjoy it based on how the first third smoked, extremely spicy with that spiciness masking underlying flavors, however by the time you get into the second third, the spice wanes and the cigar begins to mellow out. Second third is nice and smooth with a good chocolate flavor, it was at this point I began to really enjoy the smoke. It kept the notes of chocolate for the remainder of the smoke, but by the final third you also get notes of coffee and at the nub some cinnamon as well. Definitely gets better as you smoke it and I smoked it till it burned my fingers. Draw and construction were perfect, though I did need to touch it up a little at the very end. Definitely a medium to full body leaning more toward full. I don't think I could smoke this daily like a Vintage Cameroon or Herman's Batch, but it will certainly become a regular in my humidor. Pairs well with a sweeter brandy. 5 5 1
Toro The reviews were good but I’ve had no burn issues and great draw throughout. Complex flavors with a nice oily finish. It’s a winner 5 5 1
Toro Great stick. Doesn’t try to do anything too difficult. Very predictable which is a compliment. 5 5 1
Toro I stumbled upon this smoke during a JR special offered. Three boxes later I find myself content with the quality, price, and taste of this cigar. The toro is an excellent choice. Lasts for about 1 1/2 hours. The magnum version is very good, but no difference in smoke time. The Anejo 1844 is my every day smoke. 5 5 1
Toro Received this cigar in a JR sampler. It was oily, and smooth. The burn required a few touch ups. Overall a good smoke. I probably wouldn’t pay full price for these. 4 5 1
Toro Beautiful depth of flavor, easy draw and solid construction await you with the Upmann Anejo. Highly recommend this one. This is now one of my new favorites. 5 5 1
Toro Cigar Afficianado had one very positive review of these 1844 Anejos. I agree with everything they said. Just very nice in every respect. 5 5 1
Toro This is one of the best H Upmann cigars on the market. The Ecuador wrapper and broadleaf binder give it extremely rich flavors. 5 5 1
Toro ...and flavorful! 5 5 1
Toro H. Upmann produces outstanding cigars at affordable prices, and this is one of their best. It was a little stronger than I had expected, but very good. 5 5 1
