Toro Bbbbbbbbbb 5 5 1
Toro I received 4 of these in a sampler I purchased and all 4 were awful. They felt soft, I consistently got loose tobacco out, they tasted dry and acidic but had an okay draw. I gave two stars because they are fairly priced for what you get in my opinion. You get what you pay for. I also gave full consistency because they were all equally terrible. 2 5 1
Toro This cigar is pure garbage. It is without a doubt the harshest cigar I have ever smoked. They also run really bad. I have never had a batch of cigars (40 total) that consistently ran as these cigars do. Even if they smoked nice and even they are extremely harsh. 1 5 1
Toro Well made terrible cigar. 1 5 1
Toro I'm glad these were on sale because I just wasted money on 5 cigars that went straight into the trash. I tried 3 and they all had the exact same result so I threw the rest away. They'll stay lit but the draw is nearly impossible almost like trying to smoking a candle. The taste is very mild has the flavor/aroma of a tree branch. I can't believe JR even bothers selling these cigars without testing them out first. VERY Disappointed with this cigar DEFINITELY NOT ordering these again. 1 5 1

Toro After three disappointing smokes in a row I opened on up to find FLOOR SWEEPINGS......STAY AWAY FROM THIS TRASH. I threw out the remaining batch - Trash into the TRASH 1 5 1
Toro One of the worst cigars I have ever had 1 5 1
Toro Meh. This one nada good draw a little frustrated the the band was stuck on their so bad i nearly had to damage the wrapper to get the band off. It smoked rather quickly with high cedar notes and a good amount of spice 4 5 1
Toro Nice tasting cigar but half the bundle was too hard to draw. Threw away most of them. Beware they are not rolled well. First time I bought cigars from JR and wished I hadn't 2 5 1

Toro Don’t order these. I just returned two bundles! Tried to smoke 5 of them and ended up discarding 3 out of the five. Rolled so tight impossible to draw. The two I smoked I actually ran an 1/8 drill bit through them to get some smoke! Won’t be ordering again! 1 5 1
Toro Must of got a bad batch! Draw was impossible. Cigar's were hard. I'm talking about the Toro. I've had good luck with the Rubusto. Won't buy the Toro again. 1 5 1
Toro A few sticks were very hard to to draw seems like stems filled the middle . When not present draw was great. 4 5 1
Toro I paid for what I got. A good low end cheap cigar. Got for chewing on and that's about it. It smelled great but smoked horribly. 2 5 1
Toro terrible draw. 1 5 1
Toro This is probably the worst Bundle of cigars in the years i've been ordering from JR. Most of them are wrapped so tight you can't draw so I had to cut them in half in order to smoke the two halves. Others were dry and cracked so I had to wet the crack area and hold my finger over the cracked area to draw on it. This is the first I have ever written a complaint to JR. 2 5 1
Toro Ok ,but, inconsistent, some were excellent, others packed so tight they wouldn't draw, some I threw away because they tasted bad. Don't recommend 3 5 1
Toro Could barely get any smoke, uneven burn, seemed to be packed to tight. Smelled good though 1 5 1
Toro Not sure what's going on with J&R, I first started buying cigars from J&R in the early 1970's. At that time Lew Rothman had a small store front on Park Row in lower Manhattan. Lately I have had to create a new account because I can never log in with out a problem and the link to re set a password does not work and calling customer service is like sitting on hold with a government agency. Now let me get to my most recent purchase Casa De Garcia Toro, first one out of the bundle was rolled like garbage and the burn was fast and uneven. No matter how many times my torch evened out the wrapper it still burned crooked. Taste wise the Casa rated from 0-10 to about a three or four. After smoking the first Toro I examined some of the other cigars in the bundle. To my amazement I found wads of paper stuffed into the tip of one Toro. Avoid these like the plague!!!!! 1 5 1
Toro The draw on these kills what would otherwise be a good cigar. JR likes to stuff these into grab bags I have smoked at least a dozen they are always that cigar i smoke just because I want it out of my humidor usually while doing yard work. 3 5 1
Toro I buy the shorter ones in my local smoke shop and compared to these I bought from here. The ones in local shop have a better draw. 2 5 1
Toro While some of the cigars were better than others in the bundle I purchased most had issues with the construction and filler. 3 5 1
Toro What do you expect for the price burn fine just lacking any flavor depth. But hey for a cheap cigar their just dandy. Will keep a few on hand 4 5 1
Toro Not bad for a cheap cigar. The draw was very tight. Flavor wasn't to bad really mellow. It's ok for a cheap smoke in between a premium. 3 5 1
Toro These cigars are as inconsistent as it gets! Many of them aren't even smoke able ! Stay away! 1 5 1
Toro Okay for the price. Occasional stem or too tight and need to be opened. 3 5 1
Toro Some are enjoying while 2 or 3 out of 20 are too tight to draw 3 5 1
Toro [Review: Connecticut Toro] There's a reason this Casa de Garcia Toro is inexpensive. I've smoked six so far from my bundle and four were really bad canoes; what didn't burn stuck out the front of the cigar and looked the way logs burn in a fireplace. I guess they try not to waste anything when they roll. These might be OK for tooling around on your riding mower cutting the grass but otherwise... 2 5 1
Toro I got these as part of a bundle sampler deal. They are rolled weird, parts of the binder or filler looks missing in one. Some are very soft and the overall flavor is like, I don't know, not tobacco. Maybe these were training smokes for brand new rollers or bring your kids to work day. I'm not even going to speculate but I will avoid these in the future. I gave a 5 for consistency because they were consistently bad. Just say no. 1 5 1
Toro I smoke these every day and 99% are excellent. There is an occasional cigar that won’t draw, but at the price it is hardly worth mentioning. 4 5 1
Toro This is a decent cigar for the money. Nothing that really stands out as far as flavor. Every cigar in the bundle did have a consistent draw and burn. They did then to burn pretty hot in the last couple of inches though. I wouldn't hesitate to buy again. 4 5 1
Toro Okay for a quick smoke. Have purchased this cigar from time to time from years ago to today. The quality and taste has gone down, but it's okay for the price. 3 5 1
Toro Always enjoyed them. However latest bundle had pale seemingly fragile Connecticut wrappers .Tried three. First had cracked wrapper second and third had airy draw with loose uneven burn. generally poor construction. Sent them back. 1 5 1
Toro I see the general consensus is that folks really like these or they hate them! Put me down as a hater!! Bought these in a cheap combo deal and have to agree with others that say they are a bad throw in to embellish the deal?! I've only lit up 2 of the 5 sticks and both were terrible draws and construction. Not even going to waste my time with the other 3. So just like the La fincas that Jr throws in the combo bag, I would just as soon they would keep these losers to themselves!! 2 THUMBS DOWN. 1 5 1
Toro If you like a VERY mild stick this works. Too bland for me. 2 5 1
Toro 25 percent of bundle will not draw 3 5 1
Toro Packed so tight couldn't draw threw them all away will buy local from now on so if this happens again I can return them 2 5 1
Toro I notice a new label on the 'new' cigars personally I liked the white unpretentious white label. This toro was not as good as previous. Nice draw good burn. 'Grassy/sweet flavor peppery mild finish. A little harsh which is unusual for the toros. In the past I've had a better experience w/ these but overall I have found these to be a good buy for around a buck/stik. I have several bundles in my humi & still feel these are excellent for the money. I hope the label change doesn't indicate a change in the blend. 3 5 1
Toro This has been my go to everyday cigar. I enjoy the mildness of the Connecticut wrap and it usually last 30-40 minutes. I will say that probably 3 out of 10 cigars are poorly rolled; either too tight or too loose. Some may even have a leaf vein in it. The inconsistency is a drawback but for the price, it’s still worth it. 3 5 1
Toro good choice for an inexpensive mild cigar. Draw and construction inconsistencies even in same batch is common, but considering the price, not unexpected. 4 5 1
Toro Nothing spectacular here. Very mild easy draw consistent burn and very mild after taste. Nice for quick smoke. 3 5 1
Toro Had to use a drill on half of them to be able to smoke them. 2 5 1
Toro Nice light Moderate smoke, burns even and draws nice, taste isn't overpowering but you know your smoking 4 5 1
Toro Decent cigar for the price. 4 5 1
Toro Nothing spectacular here. Very mild easy draw consistent burn and very mild after taste. Nice for quick smoke. 3 5 1
Toro Great cigar for the moneymy only complaint is that they're very inconsistent without fail a box of 20 normally has 5or6 cigars that are so hard you can barely light themnever mind trying to smoke them! 2 5 1
Toro First look- This cigar states mediocre construction with a few off color spotting on the wrapper. Excellent construction on the head with a well rolled consistent feel. Smoke - The foot gave of aromatics of caramel with a touch of butterscotch. Smooth draw lead into a complexity of flavors light fruit notes/vanilla the first 2/3 had excellent burn that released a great mild smoke. Towards the latter 1/3 the smoke became slightly more intense leading my time with her to an end. Overall - I have gotten some cheap cigars that are not even close to the level of quality experienced here. Other reviews lead my to believe that the smoke is a strong contender for an everyday light affair. I would recommend going in for a box and finding out yourself you might be surprised at what this one brings to the table! -Humidor - 68 percent. stored for 2 weeks prior to smoking. 4 5 1
Toro Good budget smoke. 4 5 1
Toro It was a very decent everyday smoke with a very good construction and burn. Not a phenomenal smoke but something to stock the humidor with 3 5 1
Toro For an old fart with a fixed income and a love of cigars this is a reliable friend. Nice Connecticut wrapper with a mild nutty taste. 3 5 1
Toro It looked a little rough on the outside but it burns smoothly had a great Aroma and taste and then on the mild side was a very nice everyday type cigar which I would recommend anyone 5 5 1
Toro For the price these are my go to cigars. 4 5 1
Toro Good everyday cigar. Not wrapped good enough. 4 5 1
Toro They are the same cigars I always smoke. They are fine. 5 5 1
Toro I will keep ordering these if they stay the same as my first bundle. Easy draw mild priced right. 4 5 1
Toro na 3 5 1
Toro For the money these are a good smoke. 4 5 1
Toro Good budget cigar 4 5 1
Toro Had these many times a simple easy smoke. Like all the garcias they are a budget smoke. Pleasent nice burn good draw. Great everyday smoke. 3 5 1
Toro A nice smoke for a low price. Not meant to be a milestone type of cigar. Just a good regular smoke. 3 5 1
Toro I've had these in both Churchill and Toro. The Churchills were hit and miss with about 50% being good. The Toro's in my last batch have been fantastic. Haven't had a bad one yet and I'm halfway through the bundle. If you plan on trying these go for the smaller sticks. 4 5 1
Toro A great smoke for the money not harsh smooth and mild. All of mine burned fine... 4 5 1
Toro Picked up on auction. Draw was rich. Great notes too bad I only ordered five awaiting second order 4 5 1
Toro Priced right 3 5 1
Toro A nice smoke for a low price. Not meant to be a milestone type of cigar. Just a good regular smoke. 3 5 1
Toro Good cigar. Good value. 5 5 1
Toro Good everyday for a quick stick to smoke. Burn was even simple flavor. 3 5 1
Toro By no means a premium cigar, but certainly a nice smoke. Construction is a wee bit loose/soft, and the size is actually closer to Corona than Toro; on the plus side, the taste is smooth and mellow, just as I'd expect a premium-quality Connecticut Shade-wrapped cigar to be. And the price, of course, makes it a good buy for value-conscious cigar aficionados -- just don't let your "cigar snob" friends know! 4 5 1
Toro Great smoke when you only have an hour to spare. 4 5 1
Toro mild, perfect 5 5 1
Toro If you are looking for a very mild and smooth cigar with a hint of nutting flavor this is the one for you. Nice everyday cigar at a great price point. 4 5 1
Toro Smoked one right OTT & it was near perfect. Easy draw solid white ash mild/creamy flavor. I would actually rate these a 'tad' higher than the robustos I notice the band has also been upgraded. All in all for a little over a dollar per cigar they're hard to beat! 4 5 1
Toro Good smoke for everyday use 3 5 1
Toro Good price and value for a quick cigar. Great while on the mower for me anyway. 4 5 1
Toro Freshly packed taste good. Will be buying again. Can't beat that price for a good smoke 4 5 1
Toro Great inexpensive cigar. I enjoyed this very much. Good draw and mild flavor. I have purchased several and will keep on getting these. 4 5 1
Toro For the dollar spent on this smoke it is a very suprising delightful cigar. This is a cheap enough every day kinda smoke. Would recommend this to all. 5 5 1
Toro Nice stick for the price good draw and mild to medium strength.overall good stick. 3 5 1
Toro Great inexpensive stand by smoke. Not the best but Damn good consistently. Mild & spicy with excellent medium body. Always in the humidor. 4 5 1
Toro Very good golf cigar. Comparable to casa de ortez. Filler gets loose occasionally but that happens with inexpensive cigars. 3 5 1
Toro A great smoke at a low cost. 4 5 1
Toro Excellent smoke and a great price. I like midland this is a mild cigar. I have bought them several times and not a problem. I put them in. Humidor for a couple days and they are fine. 4 5 1
Toro For the price I was happy. Construction was the low point... great flavor. Over all good cigar. 4 5 1
Toro You can't go wrong with this stick for the price. Definitely worth it as a daily. 5 5 1
Toro This is a mild cigar with good flavor and an even better price. The cigar lights well and burns even. Draw is easy and smooth. No surprises with flavor but it is enjoyable. Good stick to give out to friends or just have while you're playing some golf. 3 5 1
Toro Great cigar for the price 4 5 1
Toro Great knockaround everyday smoke. I've had better and I've had worse but for the price these are great. And id you can score them in an auction even better! 3 5 1
Toro Mild and tasty, razor sharp burn and góod draw. 5 5 1
Toro As long as you keep these in your humidor they stay nice and fresh with a nice draw. 4 5 1
Toro The friend I purchased them for was very pleased with the taste and the burn. 5 5 1
Toro Perfect morning smoke. Starts out mellow and moves on over to med / full. Great flavor. First one of these I tried. Consistent burn that I finished down to 1 inch. $38 for 20? 5 stars on value. Compares favorably with $5 to $10 sticks. 5 5 1
Toro Smooth good draw. A lot of bang for the buck. I keep a bundle in my humidor all time. I would recommend 3 5 1
Toro If you want a really good cigar that won't break the bank, this stick is for you. A wonderful mellow smoke with generally a very good draw makes this a very good everyday choice. I would rate this 5 star plus if every stick had a perfect draw every time. if you want a mild cigar, this is for you!!! 5 5 1
Toro Excellent value. Great cigar. Reasonably priced. I’ve been enjoying this cigar for many many years. Don’t change a thing. 5 5 1
Toro Better quality than I expected especially given the price. Enjoyable everyday smoke. Will buy again. 3 5 1
Toro Mild to medium in terms of strength, with excellent contruction properties, easy draw, good smoke volume, few veins or seams and a steady even burn requiring no touch ups. Hints of cedar, leather, graham cracker and with a short lingering aftertaste. 4 5 1
Toro Wowie! Xactly as described; great golf course smoke; best cheap cigar i've ever had. Willl be buying again for only 25 bucks! 4 5 1
Toro Best Deal for the price. 4 5 1
Toro Great cigar. Smooth slow smoke. Very enjoyable 4 5 1
Toro I love a good deal. I received these cigars part of a package deal. It's a great cigar for a guy who loves to smoke cigars everyday. I specifically enjoy smoking with my morning coffee. It brings out the flavor in the cigar. I actual just bought 25 today. Happy puffing. 3 5 1
Toro My everyday smoke Can not beat the price or the quality flavor or service. 4 5 1
Toro An Excellent mild smooth draw and taste 5 5 1
Toro These are a great buy at a great smoke for the buck 4 5 1

Toro Five stars all the way. These are the smokes of smokes love the smooth finish and spicy taste. 5 5 1
Toro Very nice mild tasting smoke from start to finish. These five packs are very economical good every day smoke. 3 5 1
Toro This is my go to on a hot summer day. It's perfectly mellow with enough flavor notes to not be boring but not too many to confuse your palette. I can't recommend this stick enough! My humidor is always full of these! 5 5 1
Toro This cigar rocks!!!!! Very mild and great with your favorite beverage. I will be reordering these!!!! 5 5 1
Toro Great deal on these bundles. Still the best I have ever had for the price. Can't be beat. 4 5 1
Toro Best $2 cigar I've ever had.. Smooth consistent draw. Mellow profile with tangy cinnamon on the tongue and cream finish.. WILL buy again and keep on hand at all times. 4 5 1
Toro I’ve had these before, they’re a great everyday cigar. As usual, super fast shipping from JR. 5 5 1
Toro Like I've said in other reviews I've only had a few dozen cigars in my lifetime but I've had a couple different premium samplers And I've picked this one up from the Dominican master sampler And I've come to the conclusion that this has an absolute unmatched flavor that never disappoints. This is one for the books that is great to sit back and relax after a damn good meal! 5 5 1
Toro One of the best cigars your can buy for the price. Mild and mellow flavor is unbeatable! Great everyday smoke and you don't have to feel bad sharing with your friends at a price like this. 5 5 1
Toro Really nice smoke for early in the day. Light and easy to get through it without any trouble. 5 5 1

Casa de Garcia Connecticut

Toro 5.50 × 50 GAT2

This bundle of 20 is a perfect in-between size for those who neither want it too long nor too short. The smooth aroma from the vintage Dominican and Honduran tobaccos complements the excellent draw and perfect burn. Its wrapper is a light brown Connecticut shade that makes it mellow and creamy, with a nice nutty taste.
