Black Label Trading Co. has been making waves in the cigar world, and Last Rites is one reason why. Founded by James and Angela Brown in 2013, the brand runs a on “less is more” philosophy; small batch productions and few vitolas per release. Handmade at the Oveja Negra factory, the Last Rites Toro 6x50 was built to the Browns’ exact specs and philosophy. It wears an Ecuadorian Maduro wrapper, slightly tooth and elegant in appearance. Wrapped around it is the sharp band of black-and-white artwork that echoes the cigar’s medium-to-full-bodied punch. Underneath is a Honduran binder and mix of Nicaraguan and Honduran fillers.
