Robusto The dark wrapper is beautiful to behold and the construction draw and consistency are of the highest quality. This cigar is as good as any if you like dark rich medium/full cigars. Earthy and rich with notes of light coffee and pepper. 5 5 1

Robusto Bought a box at the end of last yr at a time all my humidors were full. First half of box smoked ranged from harsh to just too much going on to enjoy but after moving the rest to age in a humidor they mellowed into an enjoyable smoke. Next box goes straight to aging. 4 5 1

Robusto Received this as part of a sampler. Smelled quite good out of the cellophane rich earth and a little sweetness. Right off the bat it was a pepper bomb which some people are into I am not. Nice smoke output it I could not identify any flavors over the pepper. It mellowed a bit after the first third but in the final third it was back lips tingling pepper and spice. Loose draw but did not burn excessively fast. Tunneled badly the last two inches had to pitch it. 2 5 1

Robusto I smoked five of these. They are beautiful to look at with a glossy bumpy wrapper. Construction and burn are very good. They have a very modern flavor profile almost a novelty cigar with a zingy tangy citrusy flavor. They are good but about half-way through each one the peculiar flavor began to annoy me and I would wish they tasted more traditional and less hip. 4 5 1
Robusto This cigar had a smooth draw the rapper holds through the whole smoke it doesn't start coming apart the flavors are bold but nice if you like strong but good don't pass these up 3 5 1

Robusto The first unchartered i smoked was this one. I sparked it up thinking i wont expect much to be honest but ai must say the draw was good flavor quite good. Fairly consistent. End of the day I was more impressed that I expected. Although not on my top list but was quite good. 3 5 1

Robusto My first one OTT was pretty uneventful. Well constructed easy draw lotsa smoke but 'went out' a couple of times & had to be re-lit. Not much flavor peppery & on the mild side. My second cigar a week later showed some improvement. I think w/ age this cigar will improve; I will report back in a few weeks. 3 5 1

Robusto This is my favorite breakfast cigar. The robusto vitola seems more flavorful than the toro and more mello than the torpedo. When I have with orange juice and coffee this cigar produces a nice twang-y flavor not entirely unlike you get with some Dominican puros. I recommend this cigar be bought in boxes. 3 5 1

Robusto Wow I was surprised on how much I enjoyed this stick since it was offered at a very low introductory price I bought 1 box wish I got a few more at that price. Great construction and good draw, I,V cut it it really has that Cuban feel in flavor. no not cuban but for the price it was very tasty. When i got the box I unwrapped them put a bodeva in the box and put in large humidor and put 3 in my daily supply. after two weeks fired one up and had another a few days later these will be really good later this year. Held a great ash and only had 1 small touch up this was better then more expensive AJ's 4 5 1

Robusto Smoked the first Boxed just arrived and smoked the first puro yesterday. This cigar delivered more than expected in construction, flavor and burn/ draw consistency. I am particle to Ecuadorian wrappers and this one did not disappoint. Right strength between medium and full. AJ did it again. I will buy repeat, but wait for a promotion. Robusto I bought these cigars as I am a AJF aficionado. He is my go to guy as the best tobacco blender in the cigar business. After smoking three puros from the box, the cigar flavor did not disappoint. Aroma also quite balanced. Almost good enough to smoke in the house. However, the roller on this box missed the boat. All three sticks had a gaping hole mid-way through the smoke. Dead center! Subsequently, the cigar burned hot and uneven, resulting in a harsh finish. times. it appears the roller simply did not make the proper wrap to fill in the center. Disappointed, but will not give uo on AJ blended cigars. 3 5 1
