Sweet Gigante CAO my personal favorite brand, in fact, was discussing their quality in the $8 range (Brazilian Samba Torpedo) and how nice they smoke, only to have one go rogue on me yesterday, 3 hours after extolling their overall quality. Selah. . . now, as for the Surplus. Not bad smokes, ordered three bundles. First impression was they swept the floor and birthed these. To a point, I was right; not leafy but chunky with what I term "tongue detritus", those little crumbs that migrate from the filler to your mouth. Pfft, pfft, pfft. . . away little spitters. Attached: some visual evidence of a troublesome CAO Samba; over 1/2 the stick had to be "spit glued" (wrapper unwrapping), torched numerous times (running), chunks of what I will term "charcoal" knocked off, and, one torch time, the thing lit up like a candle and kept flaming like a mob torch. Very disheartening for my favorite smoke but did get about 4 inches of it in the "sweet spot" in the end. Still. . . . . 3 3 1
