The Special Jamaican Churchill Maduro cigar has remained one of our best-selling value-priced brands since it was first introduced in the early 1980s. It started as a Jamaican offering, (hence the name), but production soon moved to the Dominican Republic due to a hurricane that destroyed the factory in Kingston where the cigars were rolled. After the move to the DR, it still featured the same aged Dominican fillers, a Mexican binder, and a very dark Connecticut Broadleaf maduro wrapper. Mellow bodied in strength with a distinctively sweet aroma, the cigar produces rich and savory notes of chocolate, cocoa, cedar, spice and cream, all delivered with incredibly smooth balance.
