Blue With Virginia Heritage being sold out, I had to find a replacement. It took a lot of research, however, I settled on this brand. What I look for in a filtered cigar: I want them to be in a box. I want the filter to be firm. I want the cigar and filter to match in color and paper. Seneca almost equaled all of that. The filters are less firm than preferred. And the paper, though the near same color does not seem to be of the same paper as the cigar. They do come in a box, which is important to me. 5 5 1

Blue Half the cigars in each pack are defective. Unable to draw from them and they will not stay lit, therefore, they must be thrown away. Not a great price when you figure 1/2 the cigars in each pack can't be smoked and end up in the garbage. I ordered 15 cartons of these and very disappointed...feel JR should send 7 free cartons to make up for the defective ones. 1 5 1

Blue I've been smoking Seneca Blues as my daily smoke, for years now. Over the past three to four months, I've noticed that the draw is hard and most tend to be "hard packed" about halfway through the cigarette. I've also noticed quite a few more breakage defects in the wrappers, as well. Not enough of an issue to change brands, but definitely aggravating. As far as flavor and consistency go, I do find the Seneca Blues to be quite superior to others in their class, and the price is still within reason, as well. 3 5 1
