Hadn't tried the XXL Papagayo in over a year, picked one up while traveling. Flavor at the beginning was very strong, spicy with a taste of black pepper. Middle third transitioned to more of a cedar taste, became stronger again toward the end with a blend of spices. Outstanding draw. Construction was unbelievable. Razor sharp burn. I smoked it outside on a warm, breezy evening and ashed it only once when down to the nub. If you like strong, flavorful cigars that last for 9 minutes/two hours, try the XXL Papagayo. Not sure why, but it seems like JR has had a harder time keeping the large ring San Cristobals in stock lately.
