Vintage V Love this wonderful mellow long lasting cigar. Easy Romeo smoke with nice steady flavors of cream and coffee. Just a nice smoke 4 5 1
Vintage V Impressed with the flavor and the draw. You cant go wrong with these! The first few puffs were slightly different then the rest. After that it was smooth and mellow all the way through. 4 5 1
Vintage V Have purchased R&J Vintage II before and they've been great but first time purchasing the Vintage V 5 packs. Disappointed in the cigar construction. Unfortunately they were so lightly packed that the cigar collapsed to literally a quarter of the original diameter while smoking them. Great flavor just very poor construction in 4 out of 5 cigars so far. 2 5 1
Vintage V It's always the same. Nice medium strength with always consistent flavor. Burns beautifully with solid white ash. It's like a Harley Davidson...You can't go wrong. 4 5 1
Vintage V A really flavorful mild cigar. Good draw and even burn. A very enjoyable cigar 4 5 1
Vintage V Very well constructed cigar with a good draw and even burn. A medium bodied cigar with creamy flavor from start to finish. This cigar will not disappoint. 4 5 1
Vintage V I just finished another box of these delicious R&J Vintage V's and they went so fast I didn't have a chance to order their backfill before seeing the bottom of the humidor! The 7.5 inchers are great for any smoke occasion but they're perfect for a round of golf. Why? Because each lasts for 9 holes so two of these gems will get you from the fist tee to the 18th green and maybe even the 19th hole. They are SO smooth and Creamy I can't help but say to my friend 6 or 8 times per round Did I ever mention how much I love these cigars?! Yes he gets annoyed but as long as I'm providing the smokes he puts up with it. Out of the box of 20 I typically get ONE cigar that draws very hard but the rest just melt in your mouth. JR always sends these in perfect condition ready to smoke right out of the box. I cannot recommend these strongly enough if you like a mellow creamy smoke that's just as delicious to chew on as it to smoke. 5 5 1
Vintage V Typical good construction and good draw. A little on the mild side but very nice flavor. 5 5 1
Vintage V Great cigars. Smooth even draw big taste....everything you would want . You can't go wrong with these. 5 5 1
Vintage V Great cigar for the price. Perfect for anytime of the day. Good even draw and flavor. 3 5 1
Vintage V Construction and draw was perfect on every cigar. Burned evenly and produced a good amount of smoke. Flavor was mild/medium 5 5 1
Vintage V Outstanding mellow smoke. Nice smooth flavors with a even burn and great aroma. Great anytime cigar. 5 5 1
Vintage V Tried a 5-pack and have rarely been as disappointed as I was with these. They arrived dry and the first one I tried to smoke started to peel so I tossed it. Put the rest in my humidor for a few weeks and it helped. But the next two I tried would hardly draw without a great deal of effort. I barely smoked a few inches before tossing them. The last one I tried worked but until I smoked it down at least a third of the way (maybe more) the taste was bitter. It smoothed out very nicely after that. I have one left from the five pack at this point. Again ... very disappointed would not recommend. A real waste of money. 1 5 1
Vintage V My favorite without going into the super high priced cigars. CAN come back to it after setting it down for hours and still tastes great after re-lighting. 5 5 1
Vintage V Beautiful wrapper one of the best I've seen. Great flavor. I thoroughly enjoyed the cigar from start to finish. One of the greatest things about it was zero burn management. Will be looking to add a box of these to my humidor. 5 5 1
Vintage V I have been a loyal smoker of the vintage lll's fora long time now. These are identical except that they are a longer smoke. Highly recommend these.. I can't seem to buy enough of them. 4 5 1
Vintage V The RyJ Vintage is a classic cigar. There are no issues for any smoker with cigar. Even smokers that enjoy fuller bodied cigars have enough flavor to be happy smoking this with friends. 5 5 1
Vintage V Just got these and smoked one yesterday. The wrapper was dry and began that infernal peel that makes you wonder if this is a premium cigar or not. Perhaps JR's storage needs some remedy. I doubt the cigars dried out that much in shipment. 3 5 1
Vintage V Smooth & mild. Like these on the golf course. A go to cigar as it is always consistent. One of my everyday favorites. 4 5 1
Vintage V I can't think of another mild cigar that has as distinct sweet and white pepper taste as this cigar. You can never go wrong with starting your day with this great smoke. 5 5 1
Vintage V My guess is that the decade + long trend toward stronger and shorter cigars means this stellar smoke won’t make it on to many people’s radar. If your palate is tuned to a more nuanced flavor profile, and you haven’t tried the R&J vintage series, then you’ve been missing out on an exceptional experience. Everything about this cigar reveals quality: the sleek box with a credo-type element, the classic understated band, the flawless fawn colored wrapper leaf, superb construction and pure tobacco aroma. The large vitola takes to the match readily and practically dares you to not bother tapping the bright white ash off. With exception of the old Dunhill Aged range, Zino Mouton Cadet and some Davidoff selections - there may not be a better constructed, or better behaving cigar made. For the record, the entire Vintage line deserves these accolades. Taste profile is fresh leather, macadamia nut, gun oil and just a tinge of lemon bitters. Not at all heavy on the palate, but flavorful for sure. 7.5 x 50 has the potential to get a bit monotonous, but if you refresh your palate throughout the smoke, every inch will be very enjoyable. (I prefer tea, iced or hot, somewhat sweet). As an aside, you would have a hard time choosing a classier or more widely enjoyable wedding or celebration cigar than Romeo & Julieta Vintage range cigar. Highly recommended. 5 5 1
Vintage V I don't mean to imply that there are holes in these cigars .... two of these beautiful R&J Vintage V's will be just right to play 18 holes of golf. Their size and perfect burn will last for just about 2 hours if you're not dragging like a dragon. Their smooth gentle smoke will help keep you calm even on those occasions when your swing or putting try to frustrate you. You're almost assured to have someone in your foursome (man OR woman) say something to the effect of, "wow, that's a great smelling cigar". Their ring size fits perfectly in nearly any cigar holder you'll find on the course - the clip-ons that attach to your cart or pull cart, the "Little Judy" that doubles as a ball mark tool and a cigar holder, or a dozen others (lord knows that us cigar smokers don't want set our smoke on the green then put that poison in our mouths!). And last but not least, the smoke keeps even the peskiest gnats and mosquitoes at bay! There's nothing like walking off of that 18th hole after making a birdie or saving par and having the little nub left for the walk back to the clubhouse. The one negative with these beauties is that there are 25 in the box. That means if you always play 18 holes you're going to have to play 9 holes without a cigar unless you plan ahead and smoke one on your deck before or after a round :) 5 5 1
Vintage V Draw on this cigar is perfect. Very smooth had no issues with burn or construction. Would recommend this to anyone. 5 5 1
