Robusto I was surprised at how weak-tasting these were. There just wasn't much flavor. Add to that a stiff unyielding draw and a fat ring gauge diluting the taste still further and these were not too impressive. In a narrower size and with better draw they might be great. 3 5 1

Robusto Five years ago I reviewed these. JR recently sent me a 5-pack of these by mistake, and I tried two. The draw problem has evidently been solved, since those two drew and burned very nicely. The taste is no better though. I can't see why these get such good reviews, nor why they command such an exorbidant price. Their taste is on a par with cheap bundled cigars, and they cost a fortune. R&J has several offerings that are much better, and less expensive. 2 5 1
