Toro The Rocky Patel Special Reserve Sun Grown Maduro starts with a nice spicy blast! Once the spice fades a bit I get chocolate and coffee with some cedar. As I smoke I add tart ty o get a slight nutty sweetness that really makes this stick very enjoyable! The smoke is almost creamy the draw is perfect but I have to correct the burn a few times. 4 5 1

Toro This is really a tale of 2 cigars at the 52 dia. The first 3rd was not enjoyable for me. Not much flavor, tasted cheap. The final 3rd was a different story...smooth, rich and sweet. I got a very even burn. 4 5 1
Toro It has been a while since I smoked a Rocky, but after hearing some guys rave about this one, I thought I’d give it a try. I have burned two, of my five pack thus far. I found both of them to be extremely tight and the draw took too much effort. The first third smokes like a cheap cigar. The only flavor was bitter, with weak smoke. There are some decent flavor profiles in the belly, but it starts to burn hot in the final third. When this happened on my first, I thought it may have had humidity problems, in shipping, that weren’t rectified by a few days in my humidor, so I moved the second to a smaller humidor that I sometimes use as a conditioning chamber, typically when I forget and leave one in my golf bag for a couple days. That box is set up at 84% humidity, rather than the 72%, of my main humidor. After 4 days in 84%, the final third still smoked hot. Giving it 2 stars just because it does have some decent profiles in the belly. This stick is not for me. 2 5 1
