I have smoked Remedios 30 (maybe 28?) years ago during the Cigar Boom. It was a cheap box I bought from JR for daily smoke. About 6-7 months ago, I ordered two bundles of DV Pyramid Maduro. When I first received them, the wrapper was very thick oscuro (not maduro). It was so harsh right after the delivery that it took 2 puffs before I threw it away. I rested them in a humidor and tested it every 2 weeks. It took about 4 months before it was smokable. After 6-7 months in humidor, the wrapper turned from thick oscuro into thin maduro. When I smoked one, it oozes creamy, leathery, nutty dark chocolaty flavor with black peppery sprinkle. This finally became a good cigar after a long 6 months in a humidor.

I received mine very very humid but I much rather that than dry. Full long filler rolled nicely. All these positive reviews is making me anticipate having a nice pyramid once they reduce humidity. Keeping temp/The at 68. I'll leave a proper review once I enjoy this beautiful looking pyramid! Rating draw low for now due to the moisture, but at least I know the tobacco was fresh when received. Excited,!
