The cigars are fine. What isn't fine is JR freaking it's promise on the JR plus membership agreement. You changed the way they are shipped and now you are raising cost of the annual fee. Also you leave the poor sales staff catching all the complaints. Your customer service has gone down hill rapidly.

I bought my first Primo del Rey in 1981. I remember being impressed by its smooth flavor and aroma. Through the years they have stayed consistently good. I still enjoy them. Compared to much bigger brands their prices have remained modest. My only complaint: You can't get 'em for $.60 a stick anymore.

One of the best buys for the money. I have smoked a number of $8 & $10 cigars that are not near as good as this $3 bargain. The Primo del Rey is a regular in my humidor.

One of my first premium cigars was the Primo del Rey and it has never let me down. A mild creamy smoke with good flavor and excellent construction. This is a great beginners cigar or the perfect smoke for mild-medium cigar lovers. Has an eerily Montecristo look-alike label.
