Double Toro Still one of my all time favorite smokes. I average 5 a week. Love everything about this cigar. However, since this cigar has become very popular, and demand is very high, I think the production quality has slipped a bit. I realize these are hand made and should expect an imperfection now and then. But where I used to get bad cigar every 2 boxes, I am now getting 2 bad cigars a box. I am talking about too many stems in a stick. Wrappers that start coming undone as soon as the cigar is lit. Uneven burns. Difficult draw. But like I said, still a favorite and I hope I never run out. I am going to rate the cigar based on the norm, not the exception. 4 5 1

Double Toro Construction is flawless with a solid white ash that never flakes. Draw is the best I have ever had and Monte Cristo which is known for draw and construction is among my favorites. Flavor is fantastic with predominate notes of chocolate and expresso yet not overpowering. Consistency is excellent as every one seemed a copy of the last. I would put this cigar up against some of the best I have smoked for triple the price (Opus X Avo and Davidoff). For a truly incredible experience try the figurado that comes in the sampler. Double Toro This has been my everyday cigar for some time now. I love this smoke. I have probably bought 30 boxes of this cigar over the last 5 or 6 years. The quality control can be an issue every now and then. A cigar that comes unwrapped or has a thick stem in it is something you expect with a hand made cigar. One or two per box is acceptable. But when it is four or five per box, that is unacceptable. This was happening a few years ago, but things seem to be better now. My last 6 or 7 boxes have been very nice. 5 5 1

I finally picked up a stick and gave it a shot and I must say I’m very very disappointed upon first light and first draw where you normally get that ahh cigar time feel, that moves into different and flavors… well you know what I’m talking about.
