Churchill The G Churchill had a great draw and excellent construction but overall it just didn't have the flavor I was looking for from a cigar. It's is leathery and woodsy like with a hint of pepper and spice but one dimensional to me. 3 5 1

Churchill The Oliva Serie G Cameroon is my favorite of all the delicious Oliva cigars. To me it's the smoothest and most enjoyable from this deservedly well loved brand. And the Churchill size is perfect because the smaller Robusto size always leaves me wishing it had lasted longer. The price is very fair too! 5 5 1

Churchill I read a fantastic review of these in a recent Issue of Cigar Aficionado magazine. So I bought a box. I live or die by the box. I prefer to buy boxes of cigars, so I can smoke a number of them before I reach a conclusion about them. I like Oliva V and V Melanio cigars a lot. But for me, the G misses the mark. First of all, these are box pressed. That’s not a detraction for me. However, for a Churchill size, these are on the thin side. The flavor is ok but nothing to get excited about. The magazine review made it sound like these have fantastic taste... well, not for me. 3 5 1
Churchill Got this in a sample pack, my expectation was a dark bold and earthy smoke based purely on the maduro wrapper. Don't get me wrong it was a very good smoke. I liked the draw. I prefer bolder more full flavors so that's why I downgrade the flavor and it burned a little uneven. I would buy an individual stick if out but not a box. 4 5 1

Churchill Picked up 2 sampler packs each had 2 of these. . They arrived quickly in excellent condition. Hat tip to JR as they seem to do an excellent job of storage, and shipping. I give 2 stars based on the service. . As for the smokes themselves. These were the only 2 out of the pack that I didn’t care for. The burn was uneven. Required frequent touch ups. The draw was restricted at first, and only got worse. The cigar produced large amounts of tar. Not the typical tar, but a much thicker consistency. This made the draw even tighter. The flavor was masked by this oozing tar. I’m glad this was a sampler, and I didn’t get a box. So far I’ve only smoked the 2 from one pack. Perhaps the others will be better, but that said I wouldn’t buy a box of these. 2 5 1
