No. 2 This Monte was ok. It was expensive and difficult draw. Not sure if I'm going to buy another one 4 5 1
No. 2 Gross! Was hoping it would be fairly close to the Cuban but nothing like it. Save your money. 1 5 1
No. 2 I tried one of these because I found it on sale. It was not very good. I did not enjoy it at all 3 5 1
No. 2 This cigar is not worth it for the price. Very expe naive for an alright cigar 3 5 1
No. 2 Smoked only one of these had a loose draw flavor and body was on par with lighter cigars easily a morning stick. 3 5 1
No. 2 This wasn't my favorite but not a bad cigar for the price had a little milder flavor and not ad good construction as I usually like 2 5 1
No. 2 Definitely not the Monte number 2 I love... That said it's decent not perfect but decent. Hay and Carmel with some leather and spice. 3 5 1
No. 2 A top man gave me one to sample. I thought he'd done me a solid but I was wrong. They say imitation is the greatest form of flattery but I'm not convinced after wasting an hour on this cheroot. 3 5 1
No. 2 It was not what I expected and not for a good reason. It could’ve been that it wasn’t kept right but I had real light issue after related issue and it about a third of the way through it started coming undone I’d like to blame this on the lack of care but without knowing for certain it was somewhat discouraging 3 5 1
No. 2 Good draw. Somewhat plain. Not enough flavor profile. Good for the price. Found it at my local shop for pretty cheap. 4 5 1
No. 2 Not a huge fan of a lot of those cigars. Not that they aren't good just lots better out there. This one is pretty good though. Good flavor. 4 5 1
No. 2 It's a non Cuban as we all know it's an ok stick but your non cigar friends on the course will like you based off the name. 2 5 1
No. 2 Montecristos have a consistence case of tight draw usually too tight. The flavor is always good though. The No. 2 fits that model. 3 5 1
No. 2 Not my fav but I'd definently try it again just In case It was the one 3 5 1
No. 2 Don't be fooled -- this is most certainly not the #2 of legend. It's a tasty cigar with a flavor of its own but it's not the Cuban version. Which you might think is obvious but it's an important point to make -- if you're buying this cigar based on the stories of yesteryear you will be let down. 3 5 1

No. 2 Monte cristo have the reputation of being a premium old school smoke and i agreed with that rep in my early years of smoking. But tastes change over time where the old school conn wrapper dont really provide the full body flavor i am seeking 3 5 1
No. 2 Pretty good overall. Not really a flavor profile that I like. The barnyard thing doesn't do it for me. But others love it. So to each there own. 3 5 1
No. 2 Out of all the montes I've smoked this one was sort of a let down. Perhaps I had gotten a bunk 5er. I'm willing to give it another try. 4 5 1
No. 2 Not a Cuban but a respectable cigar that stands on its own. Just don't pay full pop. 2 5 1
No. 2 Montecristo is generally too mellow for me. There is nothing wrong with this cigar it's just not my thing. If they made these into stronger cigars they would be awesome. 3 5 1
No. 2 Montecristo is generally too mellow for me. There is nothing wrong with this cigar it's just not my thing. If they made these into stronger cigars they would be awesome. 3 5 1
No. 2 I want to love this cigar I really do want to like it but sadly I do not 2 5 1
No. 2 Do you really need a review on a monte? Legandary cigar legandary brand. Come on now. You're only looking at tgese if you know what a cigar should be 5 5 1
No. 2 I agree with DD1524 on most counts. I discovered after having been given several boxes of C*ban cigars including Montes that had been in a purpose-built humidor for some time that the cigars did not taste good until 4 months of resting in my environment! To get the full enjoyment of this Classic I suggest you let them rest at least a month before you start smoking them. They hold a long ash often a sign of quality construction. Then the flavour then approaches the fabled C*ban version . I was glad to get the Classics at a JR auction. 4 5 1
No. 2 Unlike its Cuban cousin the #2 is a bit spicy with long lasting leather and a bit of cocoa. Great smoke but if your looking for a Cuban alternative this is not it. 4 5 1
No. 2 The price is much higher than I like. If it wasn't for that this would definitely be my every day smoke. Love this cigar. 5 5 1
No. 2 Great draw and construction Consistent in construction just overrated and overpriced like all Montecristo s even Cuban Montecristo 4 5 1
No. 2 I mean it's a Montecristo what would you expect other than great? The shape is wonderful and though this stick is on the bigger side or maybe I'm smoking too many no. 4's it delivers on flavor 4 5 1
No. 2 Initially this hefty solid fella tasted quite medium but started to stand down a bit after the lighting and early phases. Burn was excellent. Aroma was top notch. Spice left in the mouth with a lot of oily aftertaste. Very Dominican but seems to have a punch. Construction was excellent but draw just a little tight but no bother. Towards the end of the first third the flavors because more mellow. Leather with a bit of leftover spice. Halfway in I tasted the first of a sweetness. More mellow halfway but still probably would be medium bodied in my book. Smoke volume increased in second half. More flavor even chocolate but not too sweet. Really enjoyed every puff. No real complaints about this cigar. The second third was very very nice indeed. 4 5 1
No. 2 As with all lines of Monte the #2 always seems to be the pick if the litter. Maybe it's the size with the amount if tobacco but they always seem to have the most fkavir 5 5 1
No. 2 Started off mild sweat leather and light tobacco flavors then transitioned into a creamy sweat tobacco. Excellent construction and draw. 4 5 1
No. 2 The Domimican Monte Cristo #2 torpedo is a top quality cigar and eorth the price of admission. However it is not the same as its cousin from Habana. 4 5 1
No. 2 I have to say this was my first cigar. Out was recommended by the local shop. I loved the flavor profile of earthiness it had. Also had a bit of what was a leathery flavor. It is often what I compare back to when I am trying to decide if I like a smoke or not 5 5 1
No. 2 Good Monte but I prefer the the white series. For the money I would buy the white series. Smooth and even burning. 4 5 1
No. 2 I really like monte Christos they have good flavor but they tend to unwrap around the end 3 5 1
No. 2 The only thing k better than a number one is a number two. This cigar really is the shiz 4 5 1
No. 2 A classic cigar. While the price point should be a little lower it's a good smoke. Nice Dominican flavors. 3 5 1
No. 2 Notes of leather burnt almonds and strong coffee accented by hints of earth and wood tones. Occasional and faint notes of sweet almond or vanilla. Very flavorful cigar. Burned well but got a little strong toward the end. Burned very symmetrically. 4 5 1
No. 2 Its called classic for a reason. It has that typical MC smoke and flavor. If your out to impress this series always comes through 5 5 1
No. 2 Great stick for everyday smoking and bbqs friends these off me every BBQ ! ! But really it is a good smoke do not make mistake by not buying this cigar 4 5 1
No. 2 This is the cigar to which I compare all other cigars. It is flawless. You'll not find a smoother better constructed more enjoyable cigar. 5 5 1
No. 2 I don't know if it is the cigar that I got but the construction was a little off. Other than that this cigar was excellent. It had a great draw and the flavors ranged from floral to an almost citrus at times. 3 5 1
No. 2 This is a great cigar if you're looking for a medium smooth smoke. I'm more of a Maduro type but this isn't all that bad. 4 5 1
No. 2 The No. 2 is a classic!!! I love this cigar and it's a great smoke that is well constructed I always enjoy it. 5 5 1

No. 2 What to say about this Monte cocoa earth red pepper citrus Carmel and grass notes are present in this cigar good draw jagged burn but no touch ups a pleasant medium to full bodied smoke 4 5 1
No. 2 These are the de-facto torpedo. They are nice when made well but there have been better Nicaraguans than Puros lately. 4 5 1
No. 2 Not as good as no1 but still up there in the ranks. Sweet notes are on point 3 5 1
No. 2 A little mellower than I typically enjoy but this is a darn good smoke. 4 5 1

No. 2 For those who have read my previous posts if you can't tell I'm a true fan of anything Monte. In particular the #2. The Belicoso draw into the point in my opinion intensifies the flavor. No. 2 A box pressed piece of heaven! Everyone should smoke at least one of these in their life. Good or better draw and an ash that just won't let go but I am getting ahead of myself. In the process of making that ash I Enjoyed a light to medium light strength enveloped in a tremendous complexity and richness. Throughout I got sweet creaminess with coffe to mocha to salted caramel at times. Add in leather and and nuttiness and other little nuances and you have a complex and mellow smoke that may be a bit pricey but not over priced 4 5 1
