El Jefe I had smoked a few la aroma de Cuba cigars in the past. About a year ago a friend gave me an el jefe. It is a cigar that I make sure is always in my humidor. It takes a while to enjoy but it well worth the time. Truly a benchmark for large ring cigars. 5 5 1

El Jefe Sorry to say the draw was very poor so I reached out to customer service. They never responded to me email so I called them. They said they would issue a return slip credit my purchase. The rerun never came. I called a number of tunes and was promised it would be resolved that day. Still waiting for the RGA. Disappointed to say the least 1 5 1

El Jefe From a price perspective this is a great buy however lotta Roma they Cuban cigars traditionally are wrapped way too tight making for a very difficult draw. If it wasn’t for this I would buy more of them. 5 5 1

El Jefe I'd been wrestling for a year as to whether these were "box-worthy" but I finally took the plunge during a recent JR sale. The El Jefe has become my "work" cigar - high quality, but reasonably priced - I'll smoke these outside during the day and they make paperwork and responding to phone calls and e-mails a little more pleasant. Well-constructed, pleasant flavor, but maybe one in ten has an issue with draw. The first one I sampled minutes after the box from JR arrived was perfect. Out of everything I've sampled among larger ring cigars, the El Jefe represents the best balance of quality and price. 4 5 1
El Jefe These are excellent cigars. My top choice for a cigar to take on the sporting clays trails. Every single one has been consistently great. Flavor, burn, draw. There’s not many cigars I’d rate a 5/5. This however is the exception. . Something I like to keep in my humidor by the box. 5 5 1
