Punch President Little disappointed in this cigar. Has a tough draw after the first three I smoked. Not as smooth as the shorter Punch cigars I bought. Maybe the longer length causes this? I've had better luck with the 7.25X54 Alternative. Punch Grand Cru Diadema. 2 5 1

Punch President I've been enjoying these cigars for some time now. Sadly I have to say that in my opinion the price has increased significantly while the quality has gone down. There is a disparity in the tightness of the roll of the cigar and way too many holes that run the length of the cigar causing burn throughs even burning my tongue. The flavor has remained satisfactory but the overall quality is now unsatisfactory. At one time these cigars represented a very good bargain which is their purpose. This is no longer the case. A review of the manufacturer and the quality control should be an immediate priority. 2 5 1
Punch President The days of Punch Excalibur Hoyo etc. originals has apparently ended. Given recent retirement and new economic surprises I have found the JRPUPR and other alternative cigars are an excellent cigar for the investment. Quality is much better than other Co.'s knock-offs. Punch President I have enjoyed the Presidentes for years. Then the Punch Presidentes went away. Now I have found the JR Presidentes and am glad to find a great cigar again. I trust they will not go away. 5 5 1

Punch President Great cigar, been smoking them for months now and haven't smoke another brand outside of Arturo Fuente 'Dor. Yes as with any bundle, there will be bad cigras and it averages about 3 cigars per bundle but that percentage is acceptable because the remaining have great draws and smoke. 5 5 1

Punch President This is Good full flavored alternative for a Punch. The Presidente size is perfect for a nice long sitting. Deep smooth with many earthy notes. Occasionally, I will have canoeing on JR Alternatives. Canoeing is burning unevenly. Part of the cigar will burn hotter and faster than the rest and it can start to look like a canoe with the center burnt out (or hollowed out). This is typically caused by an under filled cigar. This is also evidenced by the fact that the tip will be too small to fit in the standard 52 ring size. While I do enjoy these, I wish that 2 in 10 were not duds. JR's you owe me about one bundle of these. LOL. But great cigars! 3 5 1
