Dunhill Peravia A decent cigar for the price. When I'm on a job I burn through 5 or 6 of these a day I also give these to cigar experts who claim to know what a super premium cigar should be. I take the bands off big name cigars and give the experts these. I even told one joker these were pre embargo Cubans. So buy a few bundles and have some laughs. 3 4 1

Dunhill Peravia These DUNHILL PERAVIA JR ALTERNATIVEs are really bad. Very harsh and bitter - will leave you with a sore throat and a wish that you had spent your money on a name-brand stick. I have tried 3 times to smoke one of these cigars and gave up after 10 mins each time. Throwing out the remaining 17. Not worth 1/2 of what they cost. DO NOT BUY THESE - THEY ARE TERRIBLE. 2 4 1

Dunhill Peravia I usually buy the JR alternative of the Partagas #10 directly from the store. Over the years, I have bought them at the stores in Burlington, Statesville (now closed), and Mooresville, NC. I recently attempted to purchase the Partagas alternative online. It was not available, so I ordered the Dunhill Peravia alternative, and I am very disappointed with it. It draws like a cigarette, and it tastes and smells like a cigarette - not a cigar. As a matter of fact, when I came back into the house after smoking one of the Dunhill alternatives the other day, my wife said I smelled like I had just smoked a cigarette. The Dunhill alternative burns unevenly (even when lighted correctly); and this is the first time I have ever had to relight a cigar two or three times while smoking it in a social setting. I cannot afford to throw the rest of them out, but I am not looking forward to smoking them. 2 4 1
