Toro I bought my first batch through the auction site saving a few bucks. My expectations weren't high. To date I've had about a dozen of the sticks and have been very pleasantly surprised. The sticks have had uniformly good construction and are nicely packed. The flavor profile has been a bit inconsistent but at least so far have ranged from good to very good with many of them having very pleasant floral notes. Even at the regular JR price they outclass virtually everything costing twice as much. Assuming that the rest of the bundle performs similarly this may well become my go-to everyday stick. I'm keeping my fingers crossed..... 5 5 1
Toro Very good deal 50 cigars well worth it. Tasty cigars 4 5 1
Toro Tasty smooth and flavorful. As with any budget sticks let them chill in the humidity for a month. 3 5 1
Toro Overall a solid value in the price to quality ratio After all it would not be fair to hold it to the standard of a routinely far more expensive cigar now would it ? Dollar for dollar the factory Corojos deliver a solid bargain and a decent smoke for a very reasonable sale price. The bonus is that every once in a while you luck out and get a bundle that literally tastes identical to a high-end top notch cigar. My most recent purchase wasn't close to that. But every once in a while you do get one. Considering that quite poor machine- made cigars are retailing now for close to a buck a stick you could do a lot worse for a lot more money. 4 5 1
Toro bought a bundle at auction they are not a tightly rolled cigar and they burn quite fast. I would call it a mild cigar the taste starts out ok but never really develops much at the end it became quite bitter. 3 5 1
Toro I've purchased more than a couple hundred of these cigars. The construction quality is on par with the big name brands and at least in my opinion the taste is great. I'm ordering another two bundles now and hope they will still be around when I need more. 4 5 1
Toro Great value cigar. Economically priced for a well made cigar with good taste. Only downside is that a number of cigars in each bundle have a very bitter aftertaste. 3 5 1
Toro I HAVE BEEN WITH JR FOR MANY YEARS AND HAVE BEEN QUITE SATISFIED. THE LAST FEW ORDERS HAVE VERY FLIMSY WRAPPERS. 3 5 1
Toro The Honduran Factory Corojos Toro are a well constructed cigar, with a good draw and even burn. They are not as tightly rolled as the top premium cigars, but they also don't cost $10 a stick. Remember these are economical bundled cigars and can't be rated the same as the boutique boxed premium cigars, but the flavor is consistent and as the title says you can't go wrong for less than $2 a stick. A good daily smoke that won't break the bank. 5 5 1
Toro Good smoke. Great value. 4 5 1
Toro I've been smoking these cigars for some time now. Overall, they're pretty good, considering the price. I've often wondered if these aren't rolled by "trainees" as the consistency sometimes is all over the field! One of the reasons that Lew Rothman told me they were inexpensive was that Placencia does't have to sort and compare them! Since they aren't going into fancy boxes, there's no need to have a bundle of perfectly matched cigars. But, so what! Lew and LaVonda long ago KNEW that nobody likes paying for a BOX so they started selling cigars in bundles! I like these cigars. Some are crappers, too tight, won't draw and some are loose as a goose! But, overall, this a great value in your everyday smoke! I enjoy the Lonsdale 6X46, but seems to me, the TORO, 6x50 is somewhat better. Anyway, these cigars are bargains and I highly recommend them! 5 5 1
Toro letting them mature, the one I tried was quit good, expect them to be better in a couple months. 5 5 1
