Gurkha Treinta

To celebrate 30 years of Gurkha, they’re launching the Gurkha Treinta Robusto. This cigar is Gurkha’s way of saying, “We’ve been perfecting cigars for three decades, and now it’s time to celebrate.” With the release of the Treinta Robusto, they pulled out all the stops for this one. Wrapped in a velvety Ecuadorian leaf, the Treinta has a nice marbled brown tone. A Nicaraguan 99’ binder grips the Criollo 98’ fillers from Esteli and Jalapa, pulled from Aganorsa’s esteemed fields. It delivers a silky wave of citrus zest and toasted graham crackers, quickly followed by warm cedar, roasted almonds, and a lingering spice that hums on the finish. As it deepens, expect traces of dark chocolate and earthiness to round out a medium profile built to impress. At 5x52, this Robusto is three decades in the making.
