No. I These are amazing. Thanks for the LEO discounts. This app needs more ways to earn chips. The cigars are amazing. 5 5 1
No. I The consistency of this cigar has gone downhill over the last few years. They are often loosely wrapped a do not stay lit just a shame. 1 5 1
No. I A nice big cigar. I have really liked these in the past but now they have a bit of inconsistency. When they're good they're very good but occasionally you get one that's bitter with burn problems. With the increase in price recently there are better values out there. The Maduro in this size is much better. 4 5 1
No. I Creamy mild/med smoke with good tobacco flavor. Very consistent and one of my favorite old_school style mild smokes. Still enjoy them today although I prefer the maduro version. 4 5 1
No. I First time buyer soon to be a repeat buyer. I found my new cigar after my previous favorite went on a very long back order. The draw is better than many far more expensive sticks the construction is great the flavor is beautiful and I have a great feeling about the consistency. 5 5 1

No. I I've always loved these especially the maduro version. They pack a lot of mellow flavors: cafe au lait cedar light caramel sweet creamy pink peppercorn. A more approachable and refined version of the traditional HdM. The construction is excellent not too loose of a draw that still puts out lots of mouth-filling smoke.a good hour and a half book buddy for me. 5 5 1

No. I I have loved Hoyo de Monterey for years and the Excalibar line is no exception. really just making the Hoyo flavor profile that much better. 5 5 1
No. I These sticks have been around for a long time. I used to really enjoy them when I liked lighter cigars. Now they seem almost flavorless to me. Typical nutty flavor with a dry finish. It just isn't for me unless I want something light with my coffee in the morning. 4 5 1
No. I If you like a nice smooth smoke with low to medium flavor and you like looking hard for a nice body...this is the one for you. Or try a Commacho conn. for less $ and more pleasure. 4 5 1

No. I The ex alter was smoked while I mowed my lawn . Perfect for an outside cigar. Wasn't that strong and didn't make me thirsty 4 5 1
No. I Not bad not great. Got in a sampler pack. To be fair it's been a while since I've smoked this so I don't have much to say. It was OK but I wouldn't go out of my way to buy more. 3 5 1
No. I An any occassion anytime of day smoke to me. Smoother than a Hoyo de Monterrey. Complexity. Medium Bodied. 4 5 1
No. I Nothing super about this smoke but not horrible. Wish they could change their mix of tobacco for better flavor. 3 5 1
No. I Just a damn good smoke is the easiest way to put it. I could smoke it on the regular. This is also the brand of mini cigars I coos to smoke 4 5 1
No. I This is a serious cigar. It has a bite on the tongue that will make you remember your time with it. It's also an impressive gift/sharing cigar. 4 5 1
No. I these are absolutely fantastic. Well made great tasting all around excellent. Highly recommended. Go out and get them! 4 5 1
No. I Construction was pretty bad. Uneven burn throughout. The wrapper had cracks after lighting. Flavors were decent and I would try again. 3 5 1
No. I I was not impressed with this cigar. The flavor was harsh the cigar canoed more than once and it was hard to draw on. 2 5 1
No. I It was a good cigar found it in the bottom of my humidor while I was fishing and I was quite impressed with the flavor and got several compliments on what a good smelling cigar it was 4 5 1
No. I One of my favorite smokes for a long time now. Strong but not overwhelming and always a well put together stick. 5 5 1
No. I This is a decent smoke. It was well constructed and has a nice draw with an even burn. The taste was OK nothing special. 4 5 1
No. I My usual go to with this brand is the epicures I actually just ordered a box from jr cigars. This cigar is an A 4 5 1
No. I The excaliber is one of my favorites have been a fan of the since lighting the first one. Not over ly strong or peppery but enough strength and flavor to smoke it down to the nub. Rated the construction and consistency low due to having a couple from the box that just would not draw. All it would do is smolder. Otherwise a great cigar at a decent price 2 5 1
No. I Good overall smoke. Had some burn issues that required touching up. Flavor was consistent with only a little bit of 'burnt' taste at the nub. 3 5 1
No. I Old number one good cigar would like most non-Cuban Cuban brands just really nothing truly special here. 3 5 1
No. I Excellent cigar for the price point solid and tasty not too strong semi complex delicious and affordable 3 5 1
No. I A solid smoke. This one has a nice sweet finish to it in taste. There's a lot of smoke with this cigar tastes of wood and whiskey (but not strong or spicy). I really enjoy these on the weekends or while golfing. Excalibur is a classic that I'll keep in my humidor for years to come! 3 5 1
No. I This is in my top three. Consistent quality every time. Solid medium body. Thick creamy white smoke easy draw. 5 5 1
No. I I get a ton of cinnamon flavors whenever I smoke a Hoyo Excalibur. I love it! Great pricing on these too! 4 5 1
No. I A good cigar but not a great one for my taste. Worth trying I like my smokes to pack more of a punch than this one. 3 5 1
No. I What a great smoke. Deep dark flavors that never stop from filibuster to last puff. Finely made and great value at this price. Ordered my second box today. 4 5 1
No. I Hand-rolled by the same makers as Hoyo De Monterrey Hoyo De Monterrey Excalibur cigars are made using the top 10% of the factory’s tobacco from Honduras and Nicaragua. 2 5 1
No. I The Hoyo de Monterrey Excalibur No. 1 is a fine cigar. A little on the spicy side for me but not too strong to make it bad. 5 5 1
No. I Nothing to call home about but a decent smoke. I'd recommend as a yardgar. Wrapper cracked a little as I smoked. 2 5 1
No. I A cigar with surprising strength that had a strong tobacco flavor. Decent construction throughout and good burn 3 5 1
No. I Very tasty stick! I love these with coffee in the morning. Not overly complex but just a great solid tasting cigar! 4 5 1
No. I Had a semi tight draw had to roll in fingers to loosen it up. Straight cut. I got light cocoa flavors with a bit of leather. Nothing outstanding. 2 5 1
No. I One of the best cigars I have ever had. Creamy slightly spicy but no strength just how I like them 4 5 1
No. I Disappointed in this stick. Draw was way too tight and wrapper had ugly dark spots but figured I'd go for it anyway. Flavor lacked complexity but pepper and wood was present and not much else. Burned uneven probably due to the spots. Will not buy more. 3 5 1
No. I Good medium bodied smoke. Good construction and good draw. Very consistent flavor throughout the whole cigar. 4 5 1
No. I I love the Excalibur line. This is a quality stick at a great price. They are very consistent and never leave me dissapointed. Great medium body cigar. 4 5 1
No. I A mediocre cigar with not a whole lot coming through for flavors besides tobacco. It didn't have much to say for it except for having a pretty neat band. Would not recommend. 2 5 1
No. I Love this baby I really enjoyed these guys hints of cedar & spice and hints of pepper. Great Smoke output. And no heat 4 5 1
No. I I have smoked almost every major brand of cigar, but I always go back to this cigar. I have virtually smoked over a thousand of these and I have never been disappointed with the draw, the flavor and the quality. They are worth every penny. 5 5 1
No. I good 5 5 1
No. I Enjoy the ease of ordering online 5 5 1
No. I I picked up 2 sampler packs of these cigars locally and they were wonderful, so I ordered 2 boxes from JR Cigar. Opened the 1st box and smoked 10 of them. Out of the 1st 10 cigars 8 of them had a hole threw them and draw was loose and went out while smoking them. Had to keep lighting them. So I opened the 2nd box and smoked one and had the same result. Looks to me like they weren't wrapped tight enough. 2 5 1
No. I Disappointed that the choice has disappeared. 2 5 1
No. I I had one so far that did not burn evenly 4 5 1
No. I positive 5 5 1
No. I Rapper tends to peel. 4 5 1
No. I hi 4 5 1
No. I Product is great. JR is turning into a disaster. Web site is screwed up. If you can complete an order in one pass your lucky. I'm about done. 4 5 1
No. I Can’t go wrong with a good Hoyo! The no1 had great construction even burn and for a light cigar build up nice creamy cedar light spice and a very good floral aroma! 4 5 1
No. I A very consistent go to Cigars. It is medium bodied with a good burn and flavors. 4 5 1
No. I In my humble opinion this is an ok middle to low end cigar. You are paying a premium price so they have that going for them. 3 5 1
No. I Good cigar. A little on the mild side for my liking. Nonetheless a great cigar especially if you like a milder cigar. 5 5 1
No. I Took forever to smoke this Excalibur but man what an enjoyable time! Very satisfied with everything. Great cigar 5 5 1
No. I It's a nice consistent smoke that I keep in my humidor. Great for evenings and times with friends. Construction is good with long ash 5 5 1
No. I Not at the top of my list but I have nothing against it. To be fair the one I had came in a sampler so there is no fair way to rate consistency from stick to stick- but the one I had burned even and conststently tasted good. It's worth giving this one a try. 4 5 1
No. I Some of the best mild cigars you can buy. Perfect construction and more flavors than you would ever expect from a mild cigar 5 5 1
No. I Picked this up as part of a sampler. Very well built cigar. Taste wasn't bad but everyone has different tastes. Even burn. Would recommend it. 4 5 1
No. I Always great quality. Lacks in the sense of taste for my liking but still a great smoke and experience nonetheless. 4 5 1
No. I This is a medium bodied cigar. Flavor notes: cedar toast caramel hint of spice. This is a great cigar with an even burn. Would recommend in rotation. 2 5 1
No. I Got some of these with a promo pack as well. Tried to punch the cigar and it cracked down about 2 inches. Super dry. Have been storing the others in a humidor for a few days but still seem dry. The ones in the box seem better but this was my first experience with these as well as JR. Email to them was pointless. 1 5 1
No. I A gentle easy draw with a smooth easy smoke. 4 5 1
No. I This reasonably priced cigar has been my favorite for years and the basis for my judgement of all other cigars the vast majority not coming close to its all around assets. While on occasion I get a poorly constructed #1 the taste and draw are always a delight. Virtually the only smoke for me. 4 5 1
No. I The Excalibur no. 1 is a decent stick. I enjoyed it for sure. Not as good as the Cuban line but I'd smoke this again. 4 5 1
No. I Nice mild to medium cigar. Faint hints of woody something. With a hint of coffee. Ash was long and beautiful 4 5 1
No. I Very good cigar. Actually a great cigar. Buy with confidence any stick with this brand name. 5 5 1
No. I Decent cigar not very special just another rotational smoke for guests etc. construction is a little off and it burns hit which made it bitter to me. 4 5 1
No. I My go-to smoke. Not sure why they have gotten so much more expensive and hope they come down when Cuba comes into play. Still a great smoke that I always go back to 4 5 1
No. I I HAVE SMOKED THE EXCALIBUR #1 FOR MANY YEARS AND FING THEM OUTSTANDING. 5 5 1
No. I Excalibur are on my favorite list they are full flavored and burn nice. Priced well also 4 5 1
No. I Good smoke rich mellow creamy flavor. The construction is good a well made smoke. The consistency is good and the draw is also. Smokes well using a punch or cutter. 3 5 1
No. I The excalibur is a classic smoke. The awesome aroma filled the air and the taste ninja kicks your palate. Excalibur is a good stick from the novice smoker to the seasoned smoker 4 5 1
No. I An excellent cigar with a great draw. The cigar has a nice mix of mellowness and spice. This cigar I think is one of the best made. 5 5 1
No. I Again this is another walk the dog mow the grass smoke in my book. A novice may think they're getting something great but it just not one of my favorites. I won't turn one down but I probably wouldn't buy one at this point. 3 5 1
No. I Was excited to try this Cigar. The construction was flawless s well s the draw and smoke. Just missed the mark on flavor tasted stale with not much flavor of any kind. 3 5 1
No. I Very nice luxurious smoke. From start to finish smooth and flavorful. Not harsh and not over powering. The size of the cigar warrants a good hour of peace and quiet. 4 5 1
No. I I enjoy the Excalibur's. They have a great draw and are a light and easy cigar to smoke. I highly recommend them for any occasion. And they aren't overly expensive. 4 5 1
No. I Hoyos are not a regular smoke for me but I recall the buttery flavor. I love these with a good ruby port wine. They are a medium bodied smoke with a smooth after taste 4 5 1
No. I Good cigar long smoke time worked better using a punch. Good mellow flavor and Good construction and consistency 3 5 1
No. I Very good stick well constructed with a consistent even slow burn. Great aromatic aroma before its lite and as it burns. 4 5 1
No. I After smoking OneNote these I ordered a tin of the Excalibur cigarillos because it was so good. I would recomment both cigars but the cigarillos are not as good of a smoke as the Excalibur No.1 because the smoke doesn't cool as much due to their short length. 3 5 1
No. I A classic that will never die just like the sword it was named after these sticks are stuck in my humidor and won't budge. They have a constant place in my humidor as an everyday smoke and some I'm saving for special occasions there is a reason thiA classic won't die 5 5 1
No. I This is a fantastic cigar it is one of my favorites. Great smoke perfect for a sunny summer afternoon on the deck just enjoying a good day. 5 5 1
No. I This was the cigar of the week at my local JR's so I picked up a few. Great smoke and great price. Mild to my liking but not too shabby of a smoke 5 5 1
No. I Great smoke. I got a good deal on these babies and worth every cent. Good any time smoke. Bold in flavor 4 5 1
No. I This wasn't a great cigar for me. The first third was pleasant but flavors turned bitter about halfway through. 3 5 1
No. I The cigar I received had an extremely tight draw very unpleasant to smoke. The flavors however were quite pleasant. Could have been a dud I'll give another a shot. 2 5 1
No. I Again you will not find another golf stick like this one. It is an automatic selection to have this smoke while riding around in the cart. 4 5 1
No. I It's ok. It started to unravel when I was smoking it. If it hadn't done that I would say it's a lot better 2 5 1
No. I One of my favorites. I love this size especially in a Maduro. You feel like you are smoking a real cigar. Make sure you leave enough time to enjoy it. This thing is packed right and burns slow. 5 5 1
No. I Time after time this is the most consistent finest cigar I have smoked. Every time I get talked into sampling another cigar I wish I had my #1 5 5 1
No. I Good stick woody peppery smoke but still smooth. Balanced flavor profile but a tad one dimensional. Medium bodied with a decent strength kick. Would recommend since it's not an especially expensive stick. 4 5 1
No. I Structure wise this is a very impressive cigar. I felt like the taste was a little boring and left a lot to be desired. Many people have told me they've never had a bad one. 3 5 1
No. I Great mild cigar. Inlove the taste and aroma of Hoyo de Monterry Excaliber. Solod atick all the way around!!!!! 5 5 1
No. I I really like these when I'm looking for a mild-medium smoke. I usually lean to the full end of the spectrum but these are a nice change up. 4 5 1
No. I This is the first cigar I or my wife ever had. Spicy full of flavor excellent solid construction. But not overpowering (before my wife learned she inhaled this one lol) to me this is a legacy cigar and always has a home in my humidor. I highly highly recommend this stick!!! 5 5 1
No. I this is Excalibur cigar was ok it was pretty middle of the road to me not really what I am interested in although you may like it 2 5 1
No. I Personally I do not like peppery cigars and this smoke was a little too peppery for my taste. Good draw and construction. 4 5 1
No. I Hoyo de Monterey Excalibur oa the edge of a sharp sword a sword of taste quality consistency and great price. Absolutely grand. 5 5 1
No. I Smooth cigar a little rough around the edges and has a firm draw. Not the most even burn . Flavor is the most redeeming quality about this cigar it has a unique flavor. Overall while not the perfect smoke it is an ideal cigar if you're doing something outside or fishing a stick perfect for being outside. 3 5 1
No. I Had a tight draw at first but it loosened up as i smoked it. Cut very straight and i got a little bit of chocolate with a hint of leather at the end. Decent smoke 3 5 1
No. I The Excalibur no 1 is a nice medium body and full flavored cigar with great construction and incredible amounts of smoke 3 5 1
No. I This Hoyo is pretty decent large size with good construction. I picked up milder flavors but have only tried one 4 5 1
No. I Whoever pulled thus out of the stone left some dust on it or something. It's good average tobacco flavors but not much else 3 5 1
No. I Draw was a little tight but not unsmokable. The flavors mellowed out nicely just after the halfway point. I would definitely buy again. 3 5 1
No. I I am very satisfied with the Excaliburs that I received. They are one of my favorite cigars and I will no doubt order them again. They are a perfectly mild cigar with a full flavor taste and no bitterness. Lastly ordering from JRs is convenient and easy. Thank you. 5 5 1
No. I Nice 4 5 1
No. I I love these cigars but the last box I received must have been old. I had to throw 3 away out of the box. One was as hard as a rock and 2 others I couldn't get to draw so pitched those as well 4 5 1
No. I nice easy and comfortable smoke 5 5 1
No. I During my first incarnation as a cigar smoker, back in the early 1990s, I used to smoke Hoyo de Monterrey cigars. I moved along to higher priced, more exclusive cigars for the most part. A week ago, I got one of these for nostalgia’s sake. Ah. How nice. No wonder I used to like them. A distinct taste, mellow but flavorful too. These need to apology. Distinctive and pleasing flavor. Quality construction. Great draw. Affordable price. 5 5 1
No. I Good smoke for the money. Would like to get it in a mild flavor. 4 5 1
No. I excellent draw, smooth 5 5 1
No. I Very good smoke. Nothing harsh about this stick, smooth and very good taste through out. The only complaint is the wrapper did start to come apart at the hell. Stored at 70/70 so not sure why? 5 5 1
No. I The last several boxes at least half did not draw well and wrapper had difficulties 3 5 1
No. I Bought a box as a treat for myself to bring back some memories. I remembered quality construction, even burn, good draw and a superb nutty - earthy flavor that was a smooth and creamy break from the Nicaraguan full-flavored that I normally smoke. They were decent but not close to what they used to be. Flavor was lacking, burn often uneven. Even got one or two in the box with a "plug" like patch that (while burning through) essentially ruined the smoke. Not to be expected from this price point and reputable band line. 3 5 1
No. I Seems this cigar has changed over the years ! Used to be my favourite go to cigar but ends harsher than before ! I get a box now and then but is becoming less and less as time goes by ! Used to be a 5 out of 5 smoke for me but no longer so. 3 5 1
No. I Savory. 5 5 1
No. I excellent cigar 5 5 1
No. I Everything was great 5 5 1
No. I I was very pleasantly pleased. Haven’t had these for a long time but still very good. 5 5 1
No. I First of all, the cold taste is very interesting. The tobacco is obviously quite fresh and moist. Notes of cream, spice and leather. Once lit, the cigar burns quite nicely and evenly throughout the experience. Once lit, this cigar is AMAZING! The aroma is awesome, reflecting, in smell, the tastes of the cigar. Notes of leather, spice and cream. And it burns consistently and evenly. A true pleasure! 5 5 1
