Robusto I prefer a mellow cigar. These have a great flavor and aroma. I think they are one of the best buys out there. 5 5 1
Robusto Purchased these in a 5 pack on classic auction. I like mild to medium cigars with Connecticut shade wrappers, so I bid high enough to win, but never having smoked one. I have been pleased. Good draw and burn, spot on with mild to medium flavor. I will bid on them again. 5 5 1
Robusto Very mild, great construction, easy draw. 5 5 1
Robusto Very nice flavor , draw . Buying Don Diego for years 5 5 1
Robusto I'm very impressed with this. Easy draw, great construction, and a smooth mild flavor. This is a staple in my Humidor! 5 5 1
Robusto These are not cedar wrapped, contrary to JR's description. Only the Privadas are cedar wrapped. The number of errors in their website is ridiculous. A good mild cigar, but Privadas are better. Considerable variation in draw, so a star off. 4 5 1
Robusto 1st of the 5 cigars. I could not detect a single flavor note as described above. Matter of fact the only flavor profile I detected was all purpose flour. "Mellow" is one way to describe the smoke "flavorless" is the correct description in my book. Cigar construction is beautiful. Ash retention is great. Draw is great. Cigar #2 gave to my friend. He said "I hate you for giving me that bitter Don Diego cigar" put me in the worst mood ever and I put it down in less then 10 minutes". #3 I had to go back and try it again because there was zero bitterness in my first cigar. Well.... there is a hint of citrus rind, there is some sweetness, hay and the smoke is creamy with a tiny bit of pepper and extremely enjoyable!!! I love everything about this cigar. I have 2 more sticks to try. I can only pray they are like #3. As of now they are too inconsistent to give a proper rating. As of now... Don Diego I was about verbally bash your cigars and now I find myself wanting to praise them. Take this review as you will. Worth trying... Yes. Hopefully the first 2 were a fluke and they are always like cigar #3. 3 5 1
Robusto Nice mild cigar, with good flavor and consistent burn. 5 5 1
Robusto Honestly, I'm done with experiments and this cigar is just that. Its' taste has no appeal, the wrapper tastes awful and 'paperish', honestly, I would NOT recommend this to anyone. 2 5 1
Robusto A smooth cigar that is mild...has a good flavor,and burns evenly. 4 5 1
Robusto Well made cigar.Nice flavor and consistent. 5 5 1
Robusto A mellow cigar yet full of flavor. My everyday choice! 4 5 1
Robusto A cigar with the sweet mild flavor of the Don Diego is best at a smaller ring gauge, and 52 is just too fat. They are not exactly bad cigars, but not as good as the corona or corona major or even the #2. They also suffer from the inconsistent draw that seems so common to the maker of these cigars. I will stick with the thinner sizes from now on. 3 5 1
Robusto Easily my favorite cigar. You won't regret getting these. 5 5 1
