Robusto Great dark flavors with subtle sweetness. Construction was great, along with a good draw. Great to Pair with a dark red wine after a savory meal. 5 5 1
Robusto The medium-bodied flavor is as described, with the maduro wrapper & sherry barrel aged, Brazilian binder providing a unique, slightly tart sweetness. Great construction, consistency, slightly tight draw, & reasonably even burrn; with a firm, white ash. The dark brown & oily, Connecticut Maduro wrapper is expertly finished. The Robusto is slightly mellower than its 50-ring Toro sibling, but noticeably stronger and more flavorful than the 60-ring Gigante. The Whiskey Row Sherry Cask series provides an interesting contrast to the Whiskey Row Bourbon Barrel aged lineup; although, bourbon fans will prefer the latter, with its Rabbit Hole Bourbon barrel aged, San Andres binder. 4 5 1
Robusto I was looking forward to this cigar. I've tried regular Whiskey Row cigars and loved them!! I'm sad to say, whilst a good smoke, it basically is the same smoke!! I really couldn't tell much of difference between the two!! I like them both, but no discernable taste or burn wise!! 4 5 1
