If this is anything like the Deadwood Leather Rose, I'll be giving it away to a friend of mine that smokes Acid. The Rose left a taste in my mouth I couldn't get rid of. I cut a half inch off of the head and it was still unsmokable to me. I brushed my teeth, gargled, wiped the inside of my mouth with a towel and lit something different and still tasted the Rose. Obviously, not my cup of tea.

Very sweet cap and would pair well with a dessert wine. Smooth draw and mellow flavor other than the taste left on the lips.

The bad reviews are simply folks who don't read the descriptions. This is a MELLOW cigar, light, great for the occasional cigar smoker who doesn't want a heavier smoke like a Fat Bottom Betty. This is a great cigar, good draw, good burn - just light.

As a new smoker I love this one. Found it on vacation in St. Augustine while checking out some local cigar shops and enjoyed it thoroughly, so much once i finished it i went back and bought 2 more right quick. Then proceeded to or a box of 10 Gordos when i arrived home.

These being the newest and I have liked all the others by Deadwood, I had to give these a try. I liked them they probably won't be my favorite as they are a little more mellow than I like but they are still a decent smoke.

Some are packed and little tight. But over all a good smoke for the price. When I am smoking by myself and just want to have a smoke I reach fir one of these

I truly love the majority of the Drew Estates line up. They are very creative with the tobacco's use that deliver a great taste. However, the tradeoff is the build quality of the cigar, there's very little build consistency from stick to stick and box to box. I'm a daily smoker, some boxes 3 will be hard to smoke, some boxes 10 will be un- smokable. Again a great tasting smoke, but they need to work on consistency in the build quality.

Deadwood Dominicana
Toro 6 × 50 DWDT5
The Deadwood Tobacco Co. Deadwood Dominicana Toro 6 × 50 offers an elevated, cool-burning format for enthusiasts who want to maximize their relaxation time with Drew Estate's newest sister blend. This mellow-bodied creation trades intense aromatic heavy lifting for a sophisticated, balanced profile, pairing a golden Ecuadorian Connecticut-seed wrapper and a rich Mexican San Andrés binder with a core of prized Dominican fillers from the fields of José Méndez & Co. Cold draws reveal comforting hints of cocoa and light cream. The Toro vitola lets a complex, silky smoke flourish, unloading steady layers of aromatic cedar, warm honey, and toasted nuts across a long finish. Snag a portable pack of 5 to stock your personal stash with a smooth, flavor-forward experience that punches way above its price tag from JR Cigars today.
