Toro If this is anything like the Deadwood Leather Rose, I'll be giving it away to a friend of mine that smokes Acid. The Rose left a taste in my mouth I couldn't get rid of. I cut a half inch off of the head and it was still unsmokable to me. I brushed my teeth, gargled, wiped the inside of my mouth with a towel and lit something different and still tasted the Rose. Obviously, not my cup of tea. 1 5 1
Toro Very sweet cap and would pair well with a dessert wine. Smooth draw and mellow flavor other than the taste left on the lips. 4 5 1
Toro The bad reviews are simply folks who don't read the descriptions. This is a MELLOW cigar, light, great for the occasional cigar smoker who doesn't want a heavier smoke like a Fat Bottom Betty. This is a great cigar, good draw, good burn - just light. 5 5 1
Toro As a new smoker I love this one. Found it on vacation in St. Augustine while checking out some local cigar shops and enjoyed it thoroughly, so much once i finished it i went back and bought 2 more right quick. Then proceeded to or a box of 10 Gordos when i arrived home. 5 5 1
Toro These being the newest and I have liked all the others by Deadwood, I had to give these a try. I liked them they probably won't be my favorite as they are a little more mellow than I like but they are still a decent smoke. 5 5 1

Deadwood Dominicana

Toro 6 × 50 DWDT

Here’s the newest sister in the Deadwood lineup! The Deadwood Dominican Toro trades the aromatic kick of the original Deadwoods for a more refined experience. What makes this one unique is that it’s built on Dominican fillers sourced from the legendary fields of Jose Mendez & Company. It still has the signature Drew Estate touch of sweetness but delivers flavor without the extra fireworks. Wrapped in an Ecuadorian Connecticut leaf and held together with a dark San Andres binder, the Toro size lets the blend stretch out comfortably. Expect cedar, cream, and cocoa to come through backed by vanilla and a buttery finish. At 6 inches with a 50-ring gauge, the Toro hits that just-right stride. It’s a well-made cigar with a different kind of Deadwood flavor. You can now sample this mellow-bodied experience when you order a box of 10 at JR Cigars.
