Toro This is a fantastic smoke! I ordered two 4-packs of the Davidoff Toro, I planned to bring these to a party for friends. Two days before arrival, I received a note stating these were out of stock, and my order was canceled. I used a 20% off code for this purchase which was not returned to me. I had to go to a local store an purchase these, at a significant premium. Needless to say, very disappointed with JR Cigar experience. 1 5 1

Toro First, it's unfair to this excellent cigar to have the negative JR review (understandable-see above) affect the rating. Even the reviewer JSM agreed it was a fantastic smoke. We all agree that this is a cigar worthy of its name. Yes, it cost a lot for one smoke but that smoke is as close to perfection as it gets. It's beautifully-constructed with an even draw. While many experienced cigar smokers think full-bodied is the way to go, I find myself enjoying the mellow/ medium profiles and this is the best .The flavor is slightly woody with a hint of spice and some nut. A completely satisfying cigar on every level. 5 5 1

Toro Started with a Mild Woody flavor, very light. Changed to a stronger Earth note that overpowered the wood. Great smoke, not sure it's good enough to justify the extra cost, however, IMHO. 4 5 1
Toro I outlined all of this history in in email to your customer service. I initially ordered one box of Davidoff cigars. When I was told I had to provide proof of age for the recipient (who was out of state and 800 miles from me) and could not, I was told the order would be cancelled and that I would need to go online and order the box in my name (as I had been age verified). When I received a notice from my credit card company that two boxes had been charged to my account, I immediately called you representative who assured me only one box would be shipped.I asked for an email confirming the cancellation, I was told it was not necessary and that your warehouse had been contacted directly and the second shipment was cancelled. Two boxes were shipped. No apology or other accommodation was ever offered. Overall, a poor and expensive experience that does not speak well of your company's competence or professionalism 1 5 1
