Oliva Nub Collection #3 Having been a fan of Oliva a little while, I finally checked out the NUB. Did some research and seeked several Reviews like Cigar Aficionado etc., with everyone singing the same high praise. All speaking to the great burn and coined ash, to the length of burn up to 2hrs depending on your draw. I gotta say, they all hit the nail on the head! These little big guys ARE SPECTACULAR.. the Connecticut wrapper was my first try. After giving it a single V-cut, dry draw was was a pleasant easy and soft intake. As tightly wrapped as they are with an almost wood like density the draw was a surprise. First light was easy and first draw was Creamy as expected. The retro-hale was more than anticipated and I realized I didn’t need to really draw hard to get it to glow. Just like the ProReviews, I was able to draw this down to a NUBette, without it getting hot on my lips, or throat. I’ve had the Habano and Maduro as well, and they were exactly the same with tight wrap and smoothness of retro-hale. All were pleasant and very little pepper to its smoothness. Glad I purchased the 10pk sampler and have also received the 12pk Torpedo sampler.. 4x64 makes this NUB even more Desirable 5 5 1
