Mystery 5-Pack I got two mystery fives with a couple of premium 10 packs I purchased. I got 2 Fuentes 4 Nat Sherman’s an Upman a Davidoff and two I’ve never heard of. I have to admit I was happy with my mystery 5’s. 4 5 1
Mystery 5-Pack The cigars I received were actually better quality cigars than I thought I would get. The only reason I know this is because I had smoked them before. I won't be able to smoke the 5 I received in this sampler because they all arrived cracked and dry as a bone... all 5 are worthless. Very disappointed with JR cigars... 2 5 1

Mystery 5-Pack I have bought these Mystery 5 packs before and I guess sooner or later you get a DUDD!!! This one was TERRIBLE. Normally you get a variety this time All five the same Bering Gold #1 a Swissher International cigar. POOR Draw terrible taste. The only thing I could say good is that all the cigars were equally bad. At least the 2 I tried. The rest will take up room in my humidor for a long time. Buyer Beware. Mystery 5-Pack I cant rate the way these taste but I was very surprised that 5 quality cigars came in this sampler San Lotano oval maduro , Alec Bradly Habano, and 3 other name brands that I have not tried. These came as a freebie when I bought my daily Camachos and Romeos and the shipping was fast. All of these will rest for a month minimum but I can not see me complaining about the mystery 5 pack. Im am really loving JRs so I will give everything a high rating as I know my regulars will be great and ones I have smoked in this mystery pack are really good cigars 5 5 1

Mystery 5-Pack I placed an order at JR which was a bargain with free shipping. That night a deal started of a free 5 cigar sampler with $ 75 purchase. Next morning I call JR and explained the situation. The agent was courteous and pleasant. With no hassles I was told they would send me this sampler. And I received 5 good cigars. An Illusione 888 candela and 888 maduro. A Perla del Mar maduro. A Cornelius and Anthony " The Gent " and a Room 101 Farce. The 888s are Churchills and the others robustos. I have not smoked any of these before and look forward to trying them. JR has great special deals every week. I shop around at about 20 cigar websites and JR was my choice to order from. 5 5 1
Mystery 5-Pack Completely did not expect anything special when I got the "Mystery 5-Pack". Was guessing it wold be stuff they were trying to clear from the shelf. Man, was it a surprise! A very nice assortment of brands, some I have heard of others, not so, but will be ordering in the future. Mystery 5-Pack I received a La Galera Maduro Toro El Lector ($7.15), a San Pedro de Macoris Sun Grown Perla ($4.75), a H. Upmann Special Selection Maduro Rothschilde ($8.15), a Marsh Wheeling Deluxe Light ($1.70), and an Alec Bradley Project 40 Toro ($5.65). Total retail value of $27.40. But unless you are combing the B&Ms, you probably won't be able to pick up singles of these cigars. So I'm happy with the selection I got. I will most likely order again, depending on how these cigars taste. 5 5 1
Mystery 5-Pack Mystery was certainly accurate. It came with 3 infused cigars. 1 nice romeo y julieta 1875 and a macanudo maduro. The size on the romeo was comical. It was. 8.5”x54. Good value for what you get. 4 5 1

Mystery 5-Pack I was pretty happy with the cigars that I got, and I really like this because it gives me chances to try different cigars when I don't know which ones I want to try first. Also I had been curious about the quality of the JR replica cigars, and I had guessed they would probably throw one in, and they did. The only problem is that while I actually really liked the cigar, the package was not labelled and the label on the cigar just had the JR label, so I don't know which one to buy more of. In addition to picking us a sample of cigars, you should include a listing of the cigars that were given so if we like them and want to get more, we know what to get. Other than that, very happy with the ones that were given me for the price, a great deal for if you want to try different things but not sure what to pick. 4 5 1

Mystery 5-Pack Of the 10 mystery cigars that I got, only one was a legitimate mystery. And that sucks. Because it was easily one of the best cigars I have ever smoked. It was unlabeled and didnt even have a band to help identify it. It was a 5x50 Robusto style made from, I'm almost positive, Nicaraguan filler and binder. It had a rich nutty inhale with a sweet peppery exhale. It burned perfectly with no runs and stayed intact the entire way. I REALLY wish I knew what it was. The ratings are for that specific cigar. 5 5 1
Mystery 5-Pack I’ve ordered the mystery 5-pack a few times now, and have one in my shopping cart as I type this. There’s something inexplicably fun about the old fashioned grab bag, and I’m addicted to it. But why wouldn’t I be, when JR continues to stock these with truly decent cigars, many of which are unavailable as singles or samplers, so I’d never have a chance to try them out otherwise? From big name brands to reliably good bargain brands and alternatives, the variety runs the gauntlet, but the value has always been excellent, and there have been some very welcome surprises, such as the occasional well aged discontinued cigar that isn’t even listed in JR’s inventory anymore. 5 5 1

Mystery 5-Pack This cigar is a 3 if you are into smoking a lot mainly because they came dry with the humidity pack kicked I gave them time to recover but it is never the same. If you are new to cigars it is a 4 buy because the assortment was great some obvious choices like an Olivia but a few I had not heard of, it’s a great way to learn about new brands and a deal on price. Note if it had been less dry I’d give it another star to each 3 5 1
Mystery 5-Pack I'm a new smoker entering into the hobby, and the cigars I received were definitely higher quality than $5 each. It would be nice if the package came with an inventory list of the cigars they chose so you know who and what to buy again. I'd also like to add how much I appreciate this choice of a mystery pack, there's a certain child-like feeling of excitement in the experience of trying and exploring new things and this JR grab bag is ingenious. Also astonished at how fast they shipped with the base level shipping choice, wasn't expecting them to ship so fast. Overall, a damn good purchase for someone trying to find his/her tastes and preferences in cigars. Will be buying again next paycheck! 5 5 1
Mystery 5-Pack Three of the brands were HVC brand. One was a micro cheroot (into the trash) and the other was a La Finca. I am really disappointed with a sampler being all the same brands. I guess JR doesn’t want me to try different brands and purchase other brands. Oh well. 2 5 1

Mystery 5-Pack I received (4) distinct packs due to the orders I made. Their were previous reviews where people were dissatisfied due to receiving a cheroot or other cheaper cigar in their pack. I did not have this experience. Every cigar I received was a well known, respected brand - and one's I'd always wanted to try but hadn't. Some were even too good to be true honestly. So while I can't speak for others, I am absolutely more than satisfied with this. 5 5 1

Even with the discounted price I feel ripped off. I honestly can't imagine while putting this sad mystery pack together someone thinking "whoever gets this sure will be happy." I tried one before settling on writing a review and had to toss it due to it being harsh and tunneling the and altogether unpleasant the other 4 will most likely be making their way into the garbage. 1 5 1

Mystery 5-Pack Based on the past reviews, I thought I may have a few winners, but not one good one. It was a Trinidad y Cia which I couldn’t even finish, a Dominican Casa Blanca which literally had tobacco strips wrapped around the top to hold it together. There’s a Caobanero de Frias (sp) which is more trash, and two very mild JRs. Not even worth the 20 bucks I spent on them. Prior reviews mentioned being surprised with an AJ Fernandez or a couple of good brands. I guess the surprise was on me. 1 5 1

Mystery 5-Pack I got. A 6x52 or so Frank Llazero 1961. Out of production only found 1 for $9 in 2012. Highly and very good to my novice experience. Even slow smoke white ash like snow. Very pleased. If I knew what it was I would have waited to light it. Also a very skinny JR, another JR 5x50, a small Remedio, and a unbranded Figueroa looking one. All the wrappers were yellow. This one as well but in great shape and perfect to go. I didn't order another only because I have a lot of mystery unbranded ones at the moment. My experience and other reviews make me think it's worth the money if your willing to be surprised. I also have 4 pieces of Carmel corn I will eat at some point. 5 5 1

Mystery 5-Pack I’ve ordered the mystery sampler before and gotten some pretty awesome surprises. Ordered 3 this time and was pretty ho hum. Think I got one Montecristo white and an aged old style Cohiba Dominican puro and the rest of the other 14 cigars were low end JR brand or unbanded. Some may be okay but not worth the average price of the sticks. Not angry overall but like I said just so so. Not sure what’s up lately but every Boveda I’ve gotten in JR deliveries has been solid bone dry. Got lucky with only one ruined order but the rest need months in humidor to be saved. 2 5 1

Mystery 5-Pack I've purchased the 5 Pack Mystery Pack twice now and have been pleased every time. I usually smoke cigarillos on a hike or evening by myself, but like the occasional cigar especially with the girls. However, I either don't care what kind of cigar (except I don't like spicy) or just can't commit fully to a pack of certain cigars for the prices. Enter the mystery pack. It's a variety of lengths, styles, flavors and while I've had some that were too hard of a draw for me or got a little spicy at the end, I still enjoyed trying every one. 5 5 1

Mystery 5-Pack Since the 5pk came with a Boveda pack inside, I felt I didn't need to rest these to long before lighting them up. Which I didn't waste anytime with the first choice of this Mystery Pack .. I fired that one up after two days in my humidor. Partagas Black Label .. 6x60 Exceptionally well constructed - wrapper was black and tight and oily .. Dry draw was very sweet with raisin and a rich tobacco smell. This stick was packed tight and sturdy - almost to tight it seemed. I was surprised by the mildness of this Big Beauty considering it was a dual ligero blend. Sadly, this was packed so tight I had to 3-4 hard draw on this every minute to get enough smoke to notice it was lit. After 70 minutes of grueling puffery - this big beauty went out for a fifth time with half of the last third to go. I was tired of the last half consistently going out after 30 sec of rest. Having to toothpick the inside down to the filler and relight. Although the relight is always a delight to do, this was quite tedious. All in all - this is a Very GOOD stick considering its problems. I will be ordering more of this Partagas Black Label, but in a Robusto and not bigger. I want to taste the depth of the dual ligero. 4 5 1

Mystery 5-Pack I purchased a handful of Mystery 5-packs as gifts. What I found prior to giving them out was a good mix in 3 out of 5. The fourth and fifth had marginal choices at best. This is, in no way, a complaint as the cost of these 5-packs was phenomenally low. I shuffled the sticks and created 3 very good mixes for gifts, keeping the other two. They are very nice everyday good smokes! Again, these were offered as a "mix" (which they definitely were) at an incredible price. Thank you! 4 5 1

Mystery 5-Pack So my last review for these was 2 star. This time I give it 4. My last two packs were big wins!! One had $36 Davidoff Nicaragua 10th Anniversary LE, $13.30 Aganorsa Rare Leaf Maduro and a Macanudo 10 cigarillo tin plus two other decent cigars. What??!!!!! 2nd pack had Montecristo White, Tatuaje Surrogates and H Upmann 1844 by AJ plus couple JRs. That’s a massive success but be warned. THIS IS GAMBLING!!! It’s a mystery and no telling what hand you’ll get. I’ve gotten multiple packs where I ended up with a couple $6 cigars and scores of unbanded/cheap JR garbage I wouldn’t feel good giving away. Also received lots of dry cracked/moldy unsmokable trash and boveda packs(if any) that are dry as a bone and you could shuffle like playing cards. My last two packs were in great shape and had fresh Bovedas though. Buy at your own risk and understand that you’re spinning a wheel with these. On sale I’ll still go for them. Good luck! 4 5 1

When I got my 2 packs my excitement went straight to disappointment. 1 out of 10 of those cigars was worth smoking. I returned both packs back to JR. Some highlights included the Mexican Prohibition, a tin of Romeo y Julieta cigarros, a Nub Nuance double roast, and an Aging Room F55 Maduro. Of what I received, I have only tried the Romeo y Julieta brand before, so I have many new experiences ahead of me! Will absolutely purchase again when I'm looking for some new things. 5 5 1
