De Luxe Maduro The flavor is simply tobacco. It is not a very nuanced cigar. The draw was good, but the construction was inconsistent. Ash fell from the cigar after a quarter inch or so. I would not buy them again, but would not turn them down as a gift. 3 5 1

De Luxe Maduro Picked thee up at a JR auction. The price was motivation to buy, after I received these was glad I purchased them. A smooth, easy draw with a flat cut of the cap. Hints of chocolate and spice along with a slight varying taste of creme through the first 2/3 of this cigar. The last 1/3 got much hotter, became mostly just got pepper. I decided to give it a full tryout to determine what the flavors and characteristics were. This is a everyday cigar. The price bought at auction, makes it an easy decision. The retail pricing would still be okay but that would remove it from that status. Catch them on sale or at auction and no just get a great deal, but a very good cigar. Cheers 4 5 1
