Bosphorus B55 cigars are produced by Tim Ozgener the former head of the enormously popular CAO brand until it was absorbed by the General Cigar Company in 2010. Now, a decade later, Tim is back in the cigar biz with a fabulous new brand that he coined Bosphorus cigars. A perfectly box-pressed (5 x 50) Robusto, Bosphorus B55, along with the rest of the line, is distributed by Crowned Heads, and expertly hand rolled at the prestigious Tabacalera Pichardo factory in Nicaragua. This exciting new blend is composed of an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper over dual binders—Ecuadorian and Nicaragua. Underneath is a hearty mix of aged Nicaraguan long filler tobacco from the country’s top growing regions— Estelí, Jalapa, and Ometepe. Medium-to-full bodied, Bosphorus B55 is laced with rich, satisfying flavors of earth, wood, subtle floral tones, and pepper, followed by plenty of sweetness on the finish.
