Short Story Maduro I have mixed feelings writing this review. I am a avid fan of Arturo Funte cigars, and with all things in 21 supply is limited everywhere. So… this was my first purchase with JR cigars, The customer service was excellent, price was fair for 21, and although I normally buy boxes, the 5/5 pack was the the only deal. The cigars arrived in a timely manner and were unscathed by shipping which pleasantly surprised me with expected Boveda packs. The first light, However was something less pleasant, the first two cigars were noticeably dry and hard to draw, something that has never happen to me in 20yrs when buying direct from Fuente’s store: Tampa Bay Sweethearts. I’m hoping with time and humidity they will improve, otherwise this will prove to be a poor decision. 3 5 1
Short Story Maduro These cigars are what you'd expect from Fuente; great construction, good draw , and a slight sweetness from the wrapper. I however, prefer the cameroon wrapper. These are good, but with Fuentes' I'm a cammie guy. 4 5 1
