Festivo Bought 3 of the Festivo at a local b and m. Smoked one and thought it was terrific. Loved everything about it. I'm not a fan of the 60 ring gauge cigars in general so I probably won't ever smoke a Vivase and I actually prefer the Scherzo size. I can;t imagine what happened to the reviewer of the Scherzo but it obviously was nothing like my experience with the Festivo. If the next one I smoke is anything like the first, I will be buying a box of the Festivo soon. 5 5 1

Aging Room Rare Collection

Festivo 4.50 × 52 ARRCF

Aging Room Rare Collection Festivo cigars are a collaboration between Rafael Nodal the head of product capability for Tabacalera USA, and famous cigarmaker AJ Fernandez. Expertly rolled in a classic 4.50 × 52 Rothschild size, Festivo is a very special offering that utilizes some of the rarest and most well-aged tobaccos ever used in a cigar blend. This recipe consists of a Nicaraguan binder, and Nicaraguan long fillers that includes some “ Pelo d’ Oro” leaves, a tobacco varietal known for its distinct flavor and strength, but is very difficult to grow. Then, after further aging each cigar is topped off with a rare, vintage Cuban seed hybrid wrapper grown by Fernandez on his La Lilia farm in Estelí, Nicaragua. The end result is a highly complex, medium-to- full bodied smoke with rich, smooth flavors of earth, cedar, leather, dark roast coffee, and baking spices . The Rare Collection is one of many highly popular offerings between Fernandez and Nodal, but it may just be their best yet! Due to the limited availability of these rare tobaccos, Festivo is only available in small runs, so we highly suggest that your order a box of 10 from JR Cigar today, and savor this vintage masterpiece from Aging Room.
