Robusto Maduro Very good cigar, but way way over priced, I only buy when on sale. You can get cigars just as good for much less money. 4 5 1
Robusto Maduro Caught these on sale for the best deal I've ever gotten. Cohiba Black never disappoint! 5 5 1
Robusto Maduro The price is the only problem, way over priced. I only bought them because of the sale price. 4 5 1
Robusto Maduro Excellent cigar in many ways and smokes for a very long time! 5 5 1
Robusto Maduro Great everyday cigar 4 5 1
Robusto Maduro Nice construction. Dark oily wrapper. Refined taste with smooth draw. Overall a great smoke. 5 5 1
Robusto Maduro Consistently burns great with tons of white smoke. Hits all the flavor points I expect in a high end maduro. 4 5 1
Robusto Maduro Better than expected. 5 5 1
Robusto Maduro As much as l like the flavor, the aroma and the long burn…Just a little expensive…Paying more for the Cohiba brand in my opinion. The construction was not consistent in my batch although I love the dark, oily Maduro. I’ll stick to my Padron and Olivas but might purchase these again if they go on sale! 4 5 1
Robusto Maduro I can't give a correct rating for this cigar because my package was never delivered to my house. This was such a bad experience and it was nothing that could be done about me not receving the order. 1 5 1
Robusto Maduro A goto to keep my humidor stocked. Good flavor and the draw makes for a good smoking experience. 4 5 1
Robusto Maduro Excellent with a sweet bourbon or a light rye. Smooth draw and great taste notes. A great change for something different 4 5 1
Robusto Maduro After some 10 years of not smoking a Non Cuban Cohiba ,i was pleasantly surprised to have smoked a couple of cigars in back to back night ,fresh of the box mind you . After a full dinner ,fixed some Armenian coffee and some Macallan 25,in a clean/clear mild afternoon , went out to the lawn and boy was i surprised . The smell and cold draw of this cigars both , perfect draw, exellent smoke quantity and the flavor ,very potent and full elegant smoke . All was good with the 1st ,the second day was a carbon copy.. i have smoked for over 30 years , and i usually smoke Habanos ,epicures #2,HDM short churchills, Magnum 46s, and this in not in the same Ligue dollar for dollar ,but it's an honest well made ,good tasting and elegant smoke . Second day had cortadito ,25 years old Ron Matuzalen and had just as enjoyable experience . I rate this both 92-93.. will humi the rest of the box for further reviews . 5 5 1
Robusto Maduro My first Cohiba and glad it was a Maduro wrapper. I tried one right out the package, and rested the others in my humidor for a couple weeks. That first one was Great. Burned beautifully… the draw was mildly tight like long fillers should I guess. But dang, it was smooth all the way to the last quarter !! Two weeks later I started up another. It was Smoother and just like the first, a great draw into the last quarter, when a mild pepper would cross my lips, and my throat. The initial smell of the wrapper had a hint of a rich cocoa but nothing overwhelming. Can’t wait another week for my next one. I’ll be hitting the next a few days early .. lol 5 5 1
Robusto Maduro I have smoked now 3 of these cigars in a 2 week period , before I had this batch was many many years since I had a few. I am blown away , the cigars are way better than those old red dots of yesterday's ,i am in better position to smoke them in my older years with a different environment ,setting , drinks etc. The reason I mention these variables it's that i have much more liberty to enjoy the experience in the way smoking a cigar was intended . Circumstances and many years latter, i have to say that i am glad I bought a few dosens of this particular cigar , time in the humi will do wonders for them . I smoke maybe 75-80 Habanos ,but they are getting very expensive and hard to find in this particular size , so this will provide a very nice option . Burn was or it's so far good, smell it's rich and ample smoke with a decent draw so far in 3 examples. Stared each with a carefully light cigar with cedar , perfect weather ,afternoon with cold water ,Expresso and some Yamasaki 18.This at a discount are no brainners ,they are now part of my rotation. Medium to full flavor , dark notes and wallops of smoke , developed dark dry fruits and some dark bitter chocolate . If not for the regular price i would have rated them a 5 star . 4 5 1
Robusto Maduro The Cohiba Black is a best of..and real pleaser for fans of the Cohiba line. Rich, dark, chewie and full of flavor. My favorite share- to-impress with friends. 5 5 1
Robusto Maduro The Cohiba Black is one of my daily go too;s I try to catch JR's sale on them. Nice consistent construction, burn and taste. Maduro is my fav wrapper, and this is one of the best. Don't let the dark wrapper scare you, it is not a overbearing cigar quite the opposite. 5 5 1
Robusto Maduro It was a good smoke, definitely full bodied. Good draw and construction, but nothing to write home about. 3 5 1
Robusto Maduro Great cigar my favorite Cohiba! 5 5 1
Robusto Maduro One of the first cigars I've had that left me with ZERO cigar mouth that night or the following morning. Serious quality and tons of great flavor. Good flavor, Great burn. Really tight draw and a sort of sloppy presentation were the only downsides but the draw could probably be fixed and the presentation isn't as important to me. 5 5 1
Robusto Maduro This cigar was smooth from start to finish, I would’ve gave five stars but the wrap came apart. Overall experience was pleasant. Good draw 4 5 1
Robusto Maduro Cohiba cigars are the most overrated, overpriced cigars on planet earth. The Cohiba Black does have a great maduro flavor but that's where the 'good' ceases. I have yet to smoke one of these that doesn't need constant touching up. Not small touch ups either. Next thing you know you look down at the cigar and you have a quarter inch wide 'finger' on the side of the ash. I had one fall apart on me half way through. It's really surprising to see such low quality control on a cigar that costs over $20 USD full retail. I never paid more than $5 a stick for them here on JR's however. If they didn't taste as good as they do, they wouldn't be worth the hassle. 4 5 1
Robusto Maduro Wonderful flavors, just enough pepper yet smooth. Premium quality burn 5 5 1
Robusto Maduro Great maduro smoke 5 5 1
Robusto Maduro Bought these for a friend that enjoys cigars. He was thoroughly impressed. 5 5 1
Robusto Maduro I was interested when I saw that JR was offering ten Cohiba Black Robustos for under $50! I had tried other of the Cohiba line, ad has been let down. Perhaps, I thought, the blacks will be better. After all, Cohiba has a good reputation in the cigar world. How disappointing it was, therefore, to try and actually smoke one of them! The reason for the one star is that these cigars actually DO have a cold taste that is decent. However, they lack flavor, aroma, taste, and the draw is non existent. I needed to continuously relight the cigar within 20 seconds of my last puff! I wish I could tell you, my fellow cigar lovers, that this is true solely of the Cohiba black label. Sadly, I have tried other Cohibas, i.e., the blue dot, red dot, and been left with pretty much the same impression. JR sells many other maduros that are excellent. For example, the Partagas Magnifico from its Black Label. Now, THAT is a true maduro (oscuro?) that is worth each and every penny! Saint Luis Rey Serie G Maduro cigars are also quite good. Again, do not waste your money on these let downs! 1 5 1
Robusto Maduro Good butm, good taste great cigar 5 5 1
Robusto Maduro Rating: 1.5 (1 being the best ever, 2 being a good cigar to smoke again, 3 being nope never again if I can help it) Condition: Simi hard, but it's a natural state. Draw: Tight draw Relights: Constant burn, only one touch-up by choice. Flavor: 1/3 Mild carmel sweetness, nutty flavor undertone. Cool smoke, but a hint of pepper on the back of the throat. Flavor change The pleasant taste of earth and smoked oak. 2/3 Opening: Sweetness lingers in the mouth from the first third and is now a black coffee with chocolate coco. Closing: Flipping back to nutty draw now. 3/3 Opening: Pepper is lighting up the mouth with a nutty flavor that reminds me of a roasted cashew. The wonderful lightheadedness that only stronger cigars provide was present and delightful. While considered just below a full-body cigar, the last third brings the kick with a red pepper spice if you want to keep smoking it to a nub, although I choose to take a few sips of water to refresh the pallet and chocolate cocoa returned. Closing: nutty with hot spice on top. Overall this cigar was truly a welcomed smoke the change of flavors throughout the hour plus smoked, it was just as I expect top-end cigars to bring to the table. Nothing bland about this cigar, and I would never want to smoke it unless I could enjoy its depth. Certainly not a daily but 100% a great way to focus on nothing but the glow of the tip and the amazing feeling it gives. For that is where the magic happens. 5 5 1
Robusto Maduro Very good cigar at a great price! 5 5 1
Robusto Maduro Definitely a favorite 5 5 1
Robusto Maduro Caught these on sale $49.99 but they should be Free LOL, Go out to a tree cut off a small limb and light it! and you got this cigar, it was bad bad , the draw of burnt wood overwhelmed my senses, the Contruction similar to an old western cigar, maybe I should had did another flavor gone try one more before I throw these in the fire pit LOL , 1 5 1
Robusto Maduro Always a good slow smoke 5 5 1
Robusto Maduro Really enjoy these. Given many as gifts and they always get a great response. Price is steep for the Cohiba name but they’re dark, nutty spicy and full smoke.definitely the darkest cigar I’ve ever smoked. Like ink! Stock up on discount. 4 5 1
Robusto Maduro I try to catch Cohiba on a super sale then stock up. They are good cigars, but not worth (to me) the retail price 5 5 1
Robusto Maduro Lights easily over entire cigar, Burns evenly. Lasts for size. Lovely white ash. Good flavor. Not harsh. Costs a little more than some but worth the money. 5 5 1
Robusto Maduro The cigar construction is not good, the leaves unravel and it’s not just one. The Cohibas I ordered are moldy and peeling. 1 5 1
Robusto Maduro When stored correctly, the Cohiba Black smokes well and tastes great. Smoke output is good and I didn't need any re-lights. Kind of a sweet cocoa flavor. 4 5 1
Robusto Maduro See my review of the Cameroon Red Dot Robusto. The same holds true for the Maduros 5 5 1
Robusto Maduro Delicious cigar. Very flavorful. 4 5 1
Robusto Maduro Perfect white ash, good draw, and nice strong but not too strong flavor. The construction of these cigars is perfect and and the dark wrapper is amazing. Haven't had a touch up light after 5 cigars. I got em on sale and now that they are sold out i am going to save the last few sticks for special occasions. Especially since they are sold out now. 5 5 1
Robusto Maduro I have smoked in the last year 2 boxes of this particular cigar in this size as it is part of my regular rotation. One thing, it is a heavy cigar with long finish and best for a cooler afternoon after a solid meal and i usually drink a cup of coffe, a root beer and a doble shot of wiskey, . Very well made, strong tabaccoo flavors and not much of gimmy flavors, goos even burn and solid ash. They are noy cheap but JR runs specials that make them very very afordable . 5 5 1
Robusto Maduro Great cigar 5 5 1
Robusto Maduro The Black is my favorite Cohiba from this maker, its smooth and silky smoke is very consistent to the nub. All Cohiba's are very well constructed and it's noticeable that there is great care in the making. If you are a Maduro fan, you'll enjoy this. If you are a Newbie - it's a very smooth mild smoker unlike other Maduros .. Do yourselfe a favor... wait ... wait... for these and other Cohiba's to go on Sale .. it's great knowing you're getting an excellent smoke for $3-$6 a stick instead of $12-$24 .. yes JR has these kind of Great Deals.. have to be diligent 5 5 1
