Toro Boxed pressed beauty. Great draw and slow burning. Medium body and not at all harsh. Nice taste of spice and wood. This is a darn fine cigar for the price. Only complaint is that several burned uneven but it is a minor gripe. 4 5 1
Toro A good looking cigar with ample spice and a full leathery finish (an AJF trademark) that burns very cool from a perfect box-pressing. BUT...for the love of pete age them. For a good while. Right off the truck they are terribly bitter & burn with a strong dry acrid aftertaste (I'm guessing it's the thin non-cedar-noxes with loose lids & cracks). I keep a millitant %70/70F humidor and these needed close to 6 months before they were a fully reliable smoke. If you can hold out 1-year really hits their sweet spot. Even with all that when treated well these are a great tasty stick for an extremely agreeable price point... I hope they stick around. 4 5 1

Toro This is a gentle medium/full cigar. The texture is smooth. I have only had one but plan another soon. I will buy more. AJ is one of my favorite makers and this one is a delight. 4 5 1

Toro Witchdocktor Toro. On my second box of these. I love the taste of these sticks. They are creamy somewhat choclatey and a with a touch of coffee. Flawless craftsmanship. No smoking issues. Will have a place in my humidor for the foreseeable future. Grab a box! 5 5 1

Toro A disappointing one-out from a sampler. For a box press extremely poor construction uneven fill half empty at the cap spongy not solid throughout burned poorly down one side dropped a hot ash that burned through a carpet unfocused flavor. Kind of a disaster. Should have been a factory reject. I'm fairly certain a box would have had many better ones. But this one? Meh. 2 5 1
Toro I don't have much experience with expensive cigars; I usually don't pay more than $3 a piece. However the first witchdoktor I had (a Gordo) was the best cigar I've ever smoked. When they had a deal on Witchdoktors I had to take advantage. I got a box of toros and they are equally excellent. Can't recommend them highly enough. Great construction draw flavor profile and they produce great volumes of smoke. Love these cigars! 5 5 1

Toro Ok finally got a box of witch doktor and I must say a great full body smoke for sure great taste very good draw and for a box pressed it burned great started out strong and mellowed out about 1/3 through and picked back up toward the end ..a must try ...you will enjoy this one.. 5 5 1

Toro This is a well made boxed press cigar. More of a medium body. It is well balanced with hints of leather and rich tobacco flavor on the palate. For $40 bucks a box it was a great deal! Hidden gem. This one is a winner! 5 5 1
Toro Very nice cigar for the money - much better than you'd expect for an off-label; draw was just a touch tight; construction was near perfect with even burn and nice fluffy white ash; flavor was smooth and consistent with aged tobacco as advertised but flavor was a bit muddled and too mild for my taste. 4 5 1

Toro This cigar is a flavor bomb from the start. There are notes of cocoa leather spice pepper and coffee. Construction on this stick is really good; no issues with burn or draw. This stick also gives off nice thick plumes of smoke. Definitely a box worthy cigar in my opinion; which is why I just bought another one. All-in-all a great stick at a great price! 4 5 1
Toro I'm a long time cigar smoker so when I tell you this is a very good cigar for a very fair price you can count on it being of value. This cigar has great consistent construction and an easy draw every time. I would classify it as a medium smoke; not overpowering. Just a great cigar with a funny name. Highly recommended. 5 5 1

Toro Picked these up and GLAD I did! Stupid excited for these since I had been debating it, just do yourself and favor and don't debate just pick up a pack or a box. Cool box, nice box pressed sticks. Rich coco and tobacco notes on the box opening... score in my book since I was congested. Plopped them in the humidor and curiosity got the best of me, JUST HAD to have one. Nice shape and held up well, burned cool and even. Nice thick white ash. Aroma was leatherish with notes of dried fruit. Nice creamy draw not a ton of spice, nor leather but the retrohale was outstanding. A dark toffeeish and caramel taste with a hint of strong coffee and coco. Slight leather aftertaste but not off putting like some sticks. Over all a VERY satisfied smoker. 5 5 1
Toro Now I should say these sticks are terrible so I would have more for ME!. Cant do that.These are some phenomenal box pressed Sticks.Medium body with a creamy dark pallet and a perfect burn to the nub. Toro I am new to smoking and had to try the Witchdoktor because it is a blend by AJ Fernandez. This cigar is smooth and fairly strong. It has great construction and a very even burn. Very good stick for the price! I too purchased additional boxes with the great deal at JR Cigar! 5 5 1
Toro I have been wanting to try these for a long time, finally pulled the trigger with a great sale price and two free 5-packs. Toro Tried these about a year ago and have been buying boxes every month since because I can't keep them in my humidor I smoke them so often. Toro JR asked for an interview and they are getting it!.. On Dec 4th, there was a promotion, buy a box of Witchdoker and you get a free ashtray and lighter...apparently while supplies last. Well for a 12hr sale, the supplies did not last, Witchdoker is out of my financial range but, i thought for a free ashtray and lighter, why not? I got the cigars and no ashtray or lighter. I called customer service 2X, both occasions there answer was "sorry Charlie".I have not tried the sticks yet, waiting until Christmas to sample with my Bro. 1 5 1
Toro Good smoke lots of earth suttle coffee and of course AJ's signiture spice. Just got my box in today had to try one immediatly happy with the buy. Ashtray kicks ass but my lighter was a bust. Factory flawed or delivery damaged either way. 2 out of 3 stars 4 5 1

Toro There's rarely an AJ cigar I don't like, and this is no exception. I'll admit my expectations were lower due to the price point, but it's honestly comparable in flavor to the Montes by AJ, which are also excellent. Both are box pressed and sport an oscuro sumatra wrapper, though the binder and fillers differ. I'm somewhat indifferent to the box pressed style, but there's no denying it makes for a smooth and steady smoke from start to finish. If you're an AJ fan, stock up on these bad boys any time there's a sale! 5 5 1
