Toro Purchased a 5pk of these based on the reviews posted here but boy was I ever disappointed. I had a bad experience with the first cigar of the five received and thought it was just a one-off problem. I waited three weeks to try a second and my experience confirmed that this was both a construction and blend issue as the cigar tasted as though I was smoking ashen wood from an extinguished camp fire and the ash itself did not hold form well at all. It easily fell off without me doing anything to it once it got past .5 and landed in places it shouldn't. The cigar looks good and both drew and burned well but those are the only positives I can give it. My experience with those two cigars was so bad that I threw away the other three and I've never done that with any pack box or bundle of cigars purchased. The sad thing is that I have loved just about any collaboration cigar A.J. Fernandez has done but this was a major disappointment. 2 5 1
Toro It's a $2 cigar so I wasn't upset over this purchase. It's not something I'd ever smoke again. Not what I was expecting after enjoying AJ Cigars in the past. You can skip this one. 3 5 1

Toro I had to smoke the fourth one of these to varify that the 4th one was as good as the 1st 2nd and 3rd. The Uncharted Toro is Very similar to the Partigas Black Label Magnifico 6 X 54 during the 1st 1/3rd spicey peppery Med.-Full etc. BUT then as aposed to the Partigas this beauty turns on some intense sweetened espresso roasted almond flavors and imagine this: I taste hickory smoke heavy cream. Then those same flavors prevail on through to the end but intensify as you go. Very well constructed razor sharp burns they stayed lit while sipping them for over an hour and a half. Smoked it down to a nub drooled on it all the way to the end couldn't resist. AND this is 2/3s the price of the Partigas!! 5 5 1
Toro I jr just went about $10 bucks on this cigar too. It's not worth the hike either. It look like jr is going up on prices and will no longer be the place the avg cigar smoker can go to get a good priced cigar 2 5 1
Toro Bought a box during the 12 days of Christmas sale. I have never smoked one before. This is a fine cigar at a great price. I have smoked about 8 of these so far and every one has been a smooth draw great flavor and leaves a nice ash. 4 5 1

Toro I bought two boxes of the Toro during the last sale at JR's. First box was excellent. Very good construction nice draw slow burn a lot of smoke and very good flavor. The 2nd box was like it was a totally different cigar. Very tight construction terrible draw absolute pain to smoke. I never had two boxes of the same cigar ever be so inconsistent. I'll pass if these ever go on sale again and would never pay full retail. Much better smokes available in this price range. 3 5 1

Toro Tasty a little spice a little cream hints of coffee and nuts.....delicious cigar! Paired it with a peach iced tea and the flavors melded together into a nice dessert with neither drink or smoke overtaking the other. The initial spice blast made me go well hello there! but I love to start a smoke with a nice zing through the nose. Will be buying more of these. Thanks for another great blend AJ! 4 5 1

Toro If there was a 4 point line in the NBA this Stick would be a high scorer for sure. Reminiscent of the best of Punch with fillers from DR (aromatic) NIC (body) and HON (smooth flavor). Toro This is my daily smoke. Best cigar for the price Ive ever had. It's comparable to 8-9 dollar cigars from well known makers. Whenever I can find it on auction I get it. At the normal JR price of 20 for 90 bucks its worth it I'm just on a budget and cheap. If you can get it for 50-60 on auction do it dont even think of not doing it. Only negative is it sometimes burns a little fast but one lasts me a good 45 minutes to an hour. Smokes a lot like the Rosado gran reserva from AF but a stronger flavor. 4 5 1

Toro Let my older son try it out. Said it was too strong he inhales cigars like it was a cigarette I don't. I finished it off. Burned even down to the last two inches went out. I have found this with other cigars last two inches go out. Beats me why. I did enjoyed the cigar. 4 5 1

Toro I bought a box while on sale. I opened the box and smoke one on the first week after receiving. No big deal. I started given them away. Now, three months later, it's a different story. They burn nice with a beautiful ash. This is a daily smoke on the cheap. If you are looking for a trans decent experience, sorry this is not the one. For the price, if on sale, pull the trigger. Toro Possibly the worst cigar I’ve ever smoked from JR. Every one had a hole up the middle of the filler making the draw uneven and almost impossible to smoke. I would not recommend this smoke to anyone. Flavor was decent. 1 5 1

Toro I got a few of these by way of a small sampler...I had been wanting to try this cigar and a few others so I pulled the trigger...Glad I did...I thought that the origen of this blend...I thought it was discovered growing wild, more or less...And acquired and rolled ...Decent smoke, good taste, well rolled and this yellow cello was brown...To help 10/19/21 Anthony...Many time a hole in the middle is a bad light...try not dragging so hard when lighting...Don't touch cigar to flame, and rotate cigar while lighting...Hope this helps... 4 5 1

It glistens in the light with a perfect smooth form.You will not regret picking up a box of these well constructed solid and savory gems. Each cigar is as good as the last. Very satisfying. They needed some humidor time when they arrived . so a solid week later they are another must have in the humidor. there crazy good. full strength from the start and smooth thru the finish . lots of smoke or take your time and savor the light smokey sweetness we have all come seeking. There kind'a a cross between RYJ 1875 and RYJ by AJ Fernandez. Medium to full bodied. they were made at AJF's factory so you got to believe there great cigars Get Some! You will like the band, it has UC initials an one side of the band. Also the draw on these cigars is so perfect, consistency wise you might think that there built by a robot? Toro The cigar was constructed good with minimum veilns, the has held close to 1/3rd and maintained a low heat draw. The burn was consistently even throughout, the cigar needs to age in a humidor awhile before smoking to help with the consistency in the flavor profile. 3 5 1
Toro First third is misleading. Not a lot going on. Then the second third is a flavor bomb. Some floral notes on the back end. Very nice smoke. Get some more was what I was thinking at the nub. Well made and worth the money. 4 5 1

Medium to full body, check. White greyish ash, check. Solid construction, check. Even burn all throughout, check. Nubbing it until the end, check. Toro AJ refuses to miss. After smoking 1/3 of one fresh out the box, I immediately ordered another box. The cigar is well constructed with a not-too-loose draw, slow mostly even (but self correcting) burn, and evolving flavors throughout. It starts off with a blast of maple, honey, cedar and sweet burch, and eventually grows into notes of pure quality tobacco reminiscent of the Cohiba Red Dot. The toro is a solid hour and a half smoke, paired very well with a Gentleman Jack and coke to compliment the natural sweet notes. For the price, this is an amazing AJ Fernandez creation, and I'm glad I took a shot at it, abs you should too. Thank you JR! 5 5 1
