Habana No. 2 Belicoso I really enjoy the Platinum Montecristo cigars. The flavor is on point for me. I usually smoke the Toro version, which is consistently great. Obviously, the Belicoso uses the same tobaccos. But I’ve experienced issues with the burn about halfway through the Belicoso. The burning just kind of goes from even with good ash, to getting all loose and burning unevenly at the halfway point. Finally, I have found that just after the halfway point, the taste becomes harsh and not pleasant. I do not have this issue with the Toro. 4 5 1

Habana No. 2 Belicoso I’ve been a long time fan of Monte’s Platinum Series and derived much pleasure in smoking the Rothchild’s over many years. Recently, I decide to upgrade with a box of Habana #2’s. I am sitting here literally smoking the last one and have been hugely disappointed in the overall experience. These cigars simply won’t stay lit and burn unevenly making it a chore to smoke them. I won’t be repeating. 1 5 1
