Churchill This one is a full flavor powerhouse that is a home run blend for AJ! The big tobacco company made a wise move bringing in a genius mind like aj to blend a month for them. Leather red and black pepper earth dark espresso are all prevalant in this one. I did have some burn / contraction issues but that may be due to the fact that I didn't want to give it any additional time for rest after receiving it. 4 5 1

Churchill This started a tad rough but as I got going....wow! I really enjoyed this smoke. Definitely a stronger cigar but when paired when a very flavorful beer it was AMAZING! I'd highly recommend. This will make a top 10 for me. Gets yours and see what I mean! My only complaint is all the stupid bands. The one at the foot won't slide off which means pulling it off and risking damaging the wrapper. Then the large middle one and shaped differently than the cigar (it has some filler to make it rounded when the cigar is more of a box press). Lastly when I cut it the cap cracked despite this being a little too humidified due to the climate I'm in impacting it. It was surprising to see. Other than that the draw was excellent flavor was amazing smoke was thick and creamy and oh...did a mention the flavor it was extremely complex. 4 5 1

Churchill This is the 4th ring gauge of this series I'e purchased. Like the others it is nearly flawless with deep dark flavor profile that is no less than delightful. Construction is solid throughout allowing a complete smoke down to the nub. 5 5 1

Churchill Great flavor really really soft and spongelike super hard draw through first third. These things were super soft from the moment I took them out of the box they were shipped in which was weird because they weren’t shipped in a baggy at all with or without a humidification device. After resting two plus weeks still the same I really don’t like the overhydrated feel to them. My Cigars are stored at 70/70 with a veriance of -2 (in both temp and rh) very rarely for short periods rh will move +1 (on one of my digital hygrometer/thermometer. I can only conclude it’s the construction. 3 5 1

I got these at about half of msrp on the steals and deals page but I'd consider buying them at full price now that I've tried them. Churchill I've smoked many Montes, and most are 4 star or better. AJF (F is for @#$%ed up) really messed this up. Only the fact that you have to rate a minimum of 1 star gets this smoke the 1 star. It does have a good draw. However, if you're not actively pulling on this, it's trying to go out...immediately! When the ash falls, usually after about a half inch, it's essentially dead and ready for relight. Nothing to speak of in terms of flavor except good ole hardcore nicotine. The spice is just "hot", no flavor at all. If you're after a nic buzz, this will do it, but you won't enjoy the process. I got 3 of these in an AJF sampler. The first was bad, the second was just as bad, the last is going in the campfire. So far, I have to say that I'm not impressed with Mexican filler since every one that I've had has been terrible. The wrapper burns very unevenly and pretty much reeks. Like many that are seeing the light, my opinion of anything AJF is getting worse every time I smoke one. Pass on any seeming good deals that include this stick unless you're short on a fire starter for the bonfire. 1 5 1

Churchill I've tried several of the Montecristo line and only the Red, Killamanjaro, and this cigar stuck out in my mind. This one arrived in the box with really nice humidity and was very soft. Its composition was fantastic aside from one of the cigars having a single defect in the wrapper. Aside from this, the flavor was fantastic. 4 5 1
