Certified Vintage Cigars: Aged to Perfection One of the most magical places on earth is the cedar aging room of a cigar factory. It’s where hundreds of thousands of cigars are laying out, resting at the perfect humidity and temperature. And while the visual of that many cigars in one place is enchanting in itself, the real magic is happening invisibly, with the cigars becoming more smooth and flavorful with each passing day. This aging process is a crucial stage that defines the cigar, and requires patience to let the process make the tobaccos shine.Cigar manufacturers will usually produce a few thousand extra cigars of each line, in order to ensure that they always have more than enough inventory. These extras stay in the aging room, where they continue to rest and develop their profiles and flavor notes. If you’re lucky enough to visit a cigar factory, sometimes the manager will hand you a few of these unbanded treats from the cedar room, and the smoking experience will blow you away every time!Wanting to bring these incredible cigars to our customers (after all, they’re just sitting there in the cedar room, which is like having a Ferrari in your driveway- it’s made to be driven, and these cigars are made to be smoked!), we had the idea to reach out to several of the top factories in the industry to see if we could take on some of these extra aged smokes. So, we traveled around the cigar-making world, and in working with some of our biggest partners like Montecristo, Oliva, Camacho, Quesada (and more!), we’re pleased to present our Certified Vintage cigars.
