Union This little morning cigar burns perfectly. The draw is pleasantly snug resulting in a surprisingly long bit of smoking enjoyment. There is a citrus brightness in it that is captivating and well, refreshing. Some citrus cigars become closing or overbearing, not this little stick. I get a touch of fresh straw, not so much the grassy signature of so many cheaper cigars but a crispness that leaves the palette quickly. (Not all flavors should linger at the finish). No leather, no pepper, no savory notes that lend themselves more to evening or after a meal smoke just light touches of brightness. This is my morning cigar. Not so long a smoke that has one tempted to put it down out of an urge to begin or continue the day but just enough to open one's eyes and day. I highly recommend this beautiful little gift for morning enjoyment or believe it or not, pairing with a white wine. I have a problem paying much for a short robusto or paying much for a morning smoke but I doubt I could explain it. I just have less problem paying more for a heavier or larger smoke for later in the day. My urging is that you get a fiver and see if the price fits you. I doubt you will take issue with the flavor or experience. 5 5 1

Ferio Tego Metropolitan Connecticut cigars mark the return of a smooth and creamy Dominican line of premium cigars produced by the now defunct Nat Sherman Company. As for the name, Ferio Tego is the new company founded by Michael Herklots and Brendan Scott, both former Nat Sherman employees that purchased the rights to the Nat Sherman brands with the stipulation that they never use the Nat Sherman name on any of their products. These rebranded premium cigars are expertly rolled in the Dominican Republic with the finest fully aged Dominican binder and long filler tobaccos, topped off with a silky-golden brown Connecticut wrapper leaf. The end result is a medium bodied smoke with an incredibly rich and balanced mixture of sweet cream, leather, earth, cedar, and cocoa. Former Nat Sherman fans will rejoice in the return of these modern-day classics, while all others will savor one of the smoothest and creamiest Connecticut-style cigars on the market today.
